By the end of this lesson students will be able to :
Identify what the weather like in the UAE desert.
Say the parts of the camel body and how they help him to live.

Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction)


In groups the students will have one paper, they will close their eyes and imagine that they are in the desert, they will draw
what they saw in the paper, what kind of animals? Or what the weather look like?. After that one student from from each
group will describe what they draw.

The desert weather (whole class)


I will put different weathers pictures on the board, we will discuss if the Uae desert weather look like that or no.

Time:30minutes

Role play (whole class)


This activity is kind of games I use it to get them active and excited in the middle of the class.
Two students will choose card each one have different weather, they will come in front of the class and act the weather
and how they feel in this weather while the other students have to guess what is the weather. For example the one who
have cold and rainy weather I will give him an umbrella and jacket and while who have sunny and hot weather I will give
him sunglasses.

Reading the Learner Book (whole class)


The students will read (page 42), its a paragraph about the camels, they will share reading so each student read a sentence.
Different activities about camels for different abilities:
High ability:
-Given a worksheet the group will write sentences about the camel.
Medium ability:
- They will have a work sheet with a camel picture labeled with the body parts and below the picture they have sentences
that describe the purpose of the parts, so they have to write what is the part.
- Or they can answer question about the Uae desert weather in (Activity Book page 30)
Low ability:
-will have a camel object and the parts of the camel body, they have to cut the words and stick it in the right place.

Closing:
Ask them questions about the desert weather and the camel body parts.
Check the groups reward system. The winner group is who build the tallest building of cubes. Finally i will praise them
and give them gifts.

I think that I achieved the outcomes and every thing went well in this lesson also their behavior was perfect because I
rewarded them in groups with the blocks so when they do good thing they take one, they like the idea and react with it.
Even better if I tried to create individually activities so I can observe them while they do the work independently.
Next Steps in learning and teaching
I will try to use individually activities but not more than groups activities.
