Hidden in Plain Sight

A symbol is a representation of a particular thing whether it's an object or place or even a word.
It is basically used in place of something else. Walking around it is very likely to come across
symbols hidden in plain sight. We are surrounded. There are many significant signs and symbols
dating as far back to ancient times from many different backgrounds. In this paper we will dig
deeper and discover the many symbols we tend to overlook and we will discover their origin
and their meanings.
The first symbol we will look at is one that we see and think of whenever we think about
Barbados, if you have guessed the broken trident you are correct. It is on our national flag and
is basically our country's logo. But do you really know what it means? Sure we were told in our
primary school days that the trident represents us breaking away from the power of Britain, but
is that really all it means? Let's have a look shall we.

Where else have we seen this symbol? Doesnt it look familiar? For anyone who has seen
Disney's version of the Little Mermaid you would remember it. Also those of you who are
fascinated with the gods of Greek mythology. If you have guessed Neptune or Poseidon then
you are correct. Neptune/Poseidon is known as the god of the sea who travels the world in his
war chariot or his seahorses and is armed with his trident. With his mighty trident he had
caused earthquakes. The meaning of the word trident means "three toothed" or "three
pronged." Today when you see the symbol it is meant to represent power and the holy number
3. The number 3 is significant, not only in the symbol of Neptune but also in creation of the
universe as well as our man made world. The number three is one of the most important
numbers as it represents the Trinity, unity, opposition and also the beginning and the end. The
creation of our world dividing time into morning noon and night with past, present and future.

The next symbol we shall be looking at is one that is a circle and then an "X" through it. I'm not
entirely sure what this symbol means but it is found in Independence Square in Bridgetown
Barbados.

From my research all I could find about this symbol is that it has something to do with the mark
of the beast and it has made appearances in movies and also in programming such as slender
man. The circle and X fusion symbol is something we see on television and comic books so often

we dont even realize it. Such an example can be seen in the popular show called the walking

dead.
Here we can see a similar symbol engraved into the tree. Another example is with slenderman.
This didnt happen here in Barbados but these were two 12 year old girls obsessed with this
particularly creepy character to the point where they stabbed another girl to death in an
attempt to offer as a sacrifice to him. When their rooms were searched they found this symbol
in their very disturbing diaries and the also had it on their mutilated dolls.

I am not certain of the origins of this symbol I have found but we can be certain that in this
particular context it lends itself to be very creepy and one must wonder if they even researched
what the symbol meant before getting it constructed in a public setting because looking it from
the point of view that it is actually seen as the make of the beast in some areas would be very
unsettling if found out by the public.
Continuing on to another symbol discovered in the Independence Square was a very peculiar
shape, look closely and tell me what it is you see. If you guessed an eye you guessed correctly.
The one eye symbol, directly connected with illuminati symbolism we see it all over but we just
dont realize it. It is even on the back of the US dollar bill. The eye is also sometimes

accompanied by a pyramid, either inside it or directly on top of it. Often enough we see our
favourite celebrities sporting the symbol right before our eyes without recognition by the
untrained eye.

For those who do not know and are not very familiar with the illuminati they are a sect of
people underground who secretly control everything in the world. From the music that is
popular to the clothes that come into fashion among many other things all through the use of
subliminal messages.
Since we are on the topic of the illuminati it is also important to know the Nelson statue. Look
how his hand is hidden inside of the jacket, granted at this point in his life he was missing an
arm but this particular stance holds a symbolic meaning to it. It is a masonic symbol
representing the master of the second veil.

As we can see, leaders in the past have been using the hidden hand gesture and these people
have had a great influence in history and many of them were confirmed Masons. This hand sign
is a widely overlooked detail that hints at the leader's embace of the occult and its philosophy.
Though the men have had different opinions etc they all still fall under the same fundamental
philosophy, beliefs as well as ultimate goals.
Lastly one more symbol I discovered while in queen's park and another outside my house.

I'm sure we all know of this sect that works like the illuminati, they are the freemasons. These
symbols can be found at the back of some cars and also are worn as pendants around the neck.
The Freemasonry is a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values and is one of
the world's most popular and fraternal organizations. The 'G' in the middle of the symbol is
believed to represent God and is to remind them that God is the centre of all freemasonry. The
square and compasses are architectural tools, and are also used in masonic rituals and
emblems to teach symbolic lessons. Some lodges and rituals explain these symbols as lessons in
conduct. As an example one must square their actions by the square of virtue and circumscribe
their desires and keep their passions within due bounds towards all mankind.

Though we have only scraped the surface we can see that there are deep symbols surrounding
us everyday and it is up to us to know what it is that we are a part of especially if the symbols
we use have satanic origins behind them or they belong to a sect. We must keep vigilant for the
symbols that hide in plain sight.
