What does the motor do?

Motor produces Torque
Torque is obtained through electromagnetic
induction .

The stator is the stationary part of a rotary system

Its rotation is due to the interaction between the windings and magnetic fields which
produces a torque

How Pumps Work - Edward

1. Impeller rotates via the motor.
2. Centrifugal force occurs and water is
displaced
3. Water is relieved at the discharge port
4. This creates negative pressure at the suction
port pulling in water.
5. The process is repeated while motor is on
