Due to corrosion and erosion, fan blades become weaken and an

imbalance is created in the impeller. In these cases either the

impeller should be replaced or fans can be replaced with FRP
(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) fans that can save 20-25% energy
Those systems in which oversized fans are installed, following
corrective measures should be take:
Decrease fan speed using different motors.
Install an adjustable speed drive (ASD) or multiple speed motor.
Fans that operate in high moisture airstreams should be cleaned
regularly.
