2017 Altar Flower Signup - The signup chart is in the
Connector where you can indicate the Sunday you want to
provide one of two sets of altar flowers used each Sunday.
Open Door Ministry Goodies for Finals - We are taking
homemade goodies to the Mizzou LGBTQ Center tomorrow
as the students start Finals Week. If you brought goodies to
donate this morning, please leave them on Jos desk in the
Connector. If you forgot or still want to contribute, you can
stop by the office tomorrow morning. Well deliver in the
afternoon.

Dec. 13: Know a hungry college student who likes FREE

food? Tell them about Ignites Pancake Night this Tuesday at
6:30pm in Cornerstone Coffee Shop.
Dec. 13 &16: Christmas Organ Concerts at Noon - Local
organists from the American Guild of Organists will provide
noon concerts of Advent and Christmas music on Tuesday
12-1 at Calvary Episcopal and on Friday 12-1 at Missouri
UMC. Both concerts are FREE and people may come and go
as able. Both churches have small parking lots fine to use.
For Friday parking is free in Hitt stree garage (entrance off
Elm _closest to MUMC).
Dec. 14: Office Staff Christmas Party - The church office
will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 11:15am-2:15pm
as the staff celebrates the holiday off-site. As a reminder,
the office is closed for Christmas on Dec. 26 & 27.
Share Christmas Hospitality - On Christmas Eve we
welcome the community with four worship services. One
way we ensure a meaningful worship experience is through

Holiday Nursery Volunteers - The nursery is in need of
volunteers on Christmas Eve at the 5pm and 7pm services.
We are also looking for volunteers on Sunday, Dec. 25 and
Sunday, Jan. 1 as our college students will be on break.
Must be Safe Sanctuary certified. Please respond on the
tear-off or email Nancy Cooper at nancy@moumc.org.
Dec. 15: Open Door Ministry Christmas Party at 7pm at
the home of Jo Lee. Please let us know if you are planning
to attend by contacting Jo at 443-3111 or jo@moumc.org.
Dec. 18: Christmas Party for 20-30 Somethings - Join us
for a Christmas celebration in the parlor on Sunday, Dec.
18 from 3-5pm. Bring a gift ($5 max) for a fun exchange!
Cookies and cocoa will be provided.
Register now for 2017 Confirmation Class - If you have a
son or daughter currently in the 7th grade or higher who has
not gone through confirmation before, we encourage you to
sign them up. Confirmation will meet on Sunday afternoons
