Spend a day at melting shop and calculate the per piece raw
material required to produce the piece.
Over view and supervision of the molding machines and checkout
the timing and rate per piece produced and the specifications of
machines.
Spends the working hours in the finishing department and calculate
the quantity of waste material.

Calculate the daily wages of the packaging department, the task that
is given by the supervisor by using the per piece labor costing.

Laser

Calculate the amount of paint used in the coating of pieces and the
time duration used to remain that piece in the chamber of heat to
strengthen that paint.
Spend working hours with the machine of laser cutting and
calculates their wastage and gives suggestions how to reduce their
wastages at every level.

Accomplishments1
(1) I have learned about the raw materials used for making the products.
(2) I have learned how the piece costing is applicable in the industry.
(3) I come to know the practical implementation of FIFI and WEIGHTED AVERAGE.

Challenges2
(1) First experience in the RAW MATERIAL STORAGE department and the tasks and
duties given by site supervisors are completed.
(2) Site supervisor gives us a task to prepare a CHART OF REQUIRED MATERIAL for
the weekly production for them.
(3) Assign a task to FIFO and WEIGHTED AVERAGE for them.
(4) Spends the day with LASER CUTTING department is so difficult because of the nonavailability of glasses and gloves.

Learning Outcomes3
(1) Know about the major measurements of raw materials about the production of goods.
(2) Know about the major wastes done at every department and gives suggestions how to
reduce them.
(3) Know about the production policies latest used in the industry.
(4) Know about the latest untapped markets and how to taped it
(5) Know about labor costing and per piece costings.
