Youll final project is going to be the last assignment for the

Maus unit. You will be choosing a personal story of a Holocaust
survivor (They do not need to be living). This project is going to
make sure that you understand the important elements of
storytelling. These elements you should have learned through
reading Vladeks story. You will create a dramatic telling of the
personal story you have researched.
Create a dramatic play that tells the story of the persons
life. (8- 10-minute play)
Create an interview (talk show, radio interview, personal
interview) where you ask hypothetical questions to make
sure their story is told. (should be around 5 double-spaced
pages)
You can do so with a partner if you wish.
If you would like to use a person from another major
genocide- talk to me first for my approval.
You need to include a video of your play or a transcription of
your mock interview. You will also need to give me a short
reflection on why you chose your person and also the type of
dramatization. There is no page limit for the reflection part of
the assignment, but please thoroughly explain your reasoning.
