MONDAYEVANGELISTIC PRAYER
Chronological Bible Reading: Micah 4-7; Revelation 12
Monday, December 19

2 Cor. 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

God My Father!
Help me magnify Christ as your indescribable gift. I cannot do that if I
belittle my sins, pare-down my depravity, or make light of future judgment. I
cannot treat absolute truth like ordinary opinion, and whittle certainties down to
sentimentalities, like most counseling today does. Christ is all; Christ is the gift of
your free graceunspeakable against the backdrop of my own unworthiness.
I can never possibly thank you as I ought to, but I still ought to thank you!
Who has ever worthily worshipped apart from your Spirits help?

If Jesus is my salvation, when should I not be blessing you? Every morning

when I wake, I should.

How long should I continue?

Psa. 113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lords name
is to be praised.
Can I not go on singing even in my dreaming? Should not chords of
gratefulness keep on vibrating after the hand of conscious thought stops
strumming? Help my vision wander toward my Beloved, and never ramble
outside holy ground. Even in the night let me sing sweet hymns to Jesus!
Lord, help me give double praise while I can. Let me vow today, by your
grace helping me, I will praise you for your unspeakable gift, especially to others
who need to receive him. Thats one job Ill never completely finish.
All who know salvation, and all the angels of heaven, and saints of all the
ages, cannot talk-up the wonderful works of the Lord Jesus enough. But Holy
Spirit, I pray you will write this line of gratitude indelibly on my heart this week.
Help me witness to __________ and to __________, in Jesus name. Amen.
A DAILY PATTERN FOR PRAYER & BIBLE READING
Chronological Bible Reading: Zephaniah; Revelation 15
Thursday, December 22

Matt. 1:9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat
Ezekias;

NO beautiful chamber, no soft cradle bed,

No place but a manger, nowhere for His head;
No praises of gladness, no thought of their sin,
No glory but sadness, no room in the inn.
No sweet consecration, no seeking His part,
No humiliation, no place in the heart;
No thought of the Savior, no sorrow for sin,
No prayer for His favor, no room in the inn.
No one to receive Him, no welcome while here,
No balm to relieve Him, no staff but a spear;
No seeking His treasure, no weeping for sin,
No doing His pleasure, no room in the inn.
No room, no room, for Jesus,
O give Him welcome free,
Lest you should hear at Heavens gate,
There is no room for thee.

TUESDAYFOCUS ON CHRISTS MIRACLES

Chronological Bible Reading: Nahum; Revelation 13
Tuesday, December 20

Luke 17:14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the
priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
Jesus, Merciful Master:
With splotchy parched skin, and death burning its way toward their insides,
these ten lepers walked away bravely, in the confidence you already blessed them
with what they soughtand yet one of them was a Samaritan. Oh, give me such
faith in my own situation! How often, like these lepers, do I feel so overwhelmed!
I am completely insensitive and almost unfeeling to what goes on around me.
Give me as good a faith as theirs, in spite of the fact I was born of the cursed
race of Adam, and have nothing to commend myself to you.
I chide myself Lord, that sometimes I have wrestled with you in prayer (like
Jacob at the Jabbok), yet I have not magnified your name in my soul (like Mary
did in Nazareth). There would be no need to plead for laborers, and stir people
up to minister, if we had praise proportional even to our small little faith.
I know people who get blessings from Jesus yet still do not praise you.
Their lives are spent in examining their own skins to see if all the leprosy is gone,
complaining over how long it took. Save me from such manifest selfishness!
Deliver me, especially as we approach Christmas Day, from such ingratitude.
Help me sing more songs of gratefulness, even if I have to sing solo!
Nine out of ten of my friends may be frozen. Nine out of ten of my family
may be worldly. Nine out of ten in church may have hearts cold to your touch.
Only my personal love to you will make me praise you like no one is watching.
Since there is an individuality in all praise, help me to do it! The quicker
I can express my thanksgiving the better.
Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
FRIDAY CORPORATE PRAYER MINISTRY
Chronological Bible Reading: Haggai; Revelation 16
Friday, December 23

Rom. 7:24-25 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this
death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Our Blessed Savior:
We often develop a written a policy to make ourselves do right. But oh, that
we were simply like you, Jesus! Mold us so much into the image of yourself, that
to act-out holiness, all we have to do is be ourselves. We will never rest until the
new nature is second nature. We will never have a New Year mission or vision
until this one is fulfilleduntil you have made us grow in inward holiness.
Here we are, Lord. We belong to you. It is because we are yours that we
have hope. You will make us worthy of you. Our hope of perfection is you
possessing us. Being Christs own we can have all that Christ is.
We bring before you all the saints. Together we ask you to attend to all our
trials and troubles. Some of us are afflicted in body. Others are troubled in
relationships. Some are frustrated in finances. Others are in anxiety over friends.
Many are in sore distress, even (or especially) this holiday time of year.
You are the head. All our pains are centered in you. All our griefs and
sorrows are felt and understood by you. Grant us a blessing of mercy! Let it come
on all the works that have sprung out of our church, and all the workers scattered
around the globe. Revive us here and in other countries! Let us preach Christ and
see many people converted. Do it
1 Tim. 1:11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to
my trust.
Hear us as wein secret but in unisoncry out to you. Lift up the light of
your countenance on our services. Hear us, and do this for Jesus honor and our
advantage by the gospels advancement through us. Amen.

WEDNESDAYREVIVAL PRAYING
Chronological Bible Reading: Habakkuk; Revelation 14
Wednesday, December 21

1 Pet. 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving
honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life;
that your prayers be not hindered.
Heavenly Father:
Prayer is such a precious thing; it is the channel where rivers of revival
come to me, and the window you slip so much grace through. It is my semitrailer, trading with heaven, and comes home stacked with treasures. It is
invaluable! So much so, the danger of my hindering it is used as a motive for why
husbands and wives should behave according to their biblical roles.
Anything that hinders prayer is sin. If anything regarding my family is
injuring my power to pray, then there is urgent reason to change! Any behavior or
attitude or habit that leaves me un-joined to my spouse as an heir of grace is evil.
Prayer affects my spiritual power. To confine it is spiritual injury and a
dangerous tendency. When I am on my knees I am really and truly before you.
Men see me only on the surface, but your eyes pry into the recesses of my soul. If
you see I am prayerlessnot on my knees now, but in my soul during the day
then you consider little of my trials, and nothing of my efforts.
Make me a person of earnest prayer. Give me the spirit of prayer so it
becomes habitual for my heart to talk with Jesus all day! Then things will be right
with me. But if that is not my case right now and my prayers are hindered, show
me what needs to be ejected out of my spiritual system to make it right. Show me
what is lacking that needs to be supplied.
Prov. 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
And living prayers are what deal with those issues and bring revival.
You see the hindrances; I repent of the sin. Hear me today for Jesus sake! Amen.
SATURDAYIN THE PSALMS
Chronological Bible Reading: Zechariah 1-3; Revelation 17
Saturday, December 24

Psa. 19:12-13 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then
shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
Holy Lord and Glorious Father:
I am moved by this scripture to marvel at the number and seriousness of
my sins. I feel like I need to write a library of retractions for all I have said and
done, both against you and others. Truly my heart is treacherous if left alone to
itself, and my ways wicked without you. My secret sins are private conspirators
against all the Holy Spirit wants to do through me. Help me hunt them down
before they do deadly damage. Make me much in prayer against them.
Unless restrained by grace I could fall into the worst of sins. Help me watch
and pray so I dont even enter into such temptation. Hold me backwith bit and
bridlefrom my natural propensity to sin. Help me defeat the ones that so easily
beset me.
This prayer is only words, and it is a mockery if my heart does not meditate
in your word to gain spiritual strength. Help me in prayer look to the strong One
for strength, and view you as my Redeemer as much from daily sin as from
the sins of my past. That is the only way I will pray aright.
Psa. 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable
in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
In this Psalm, David began with the heavens and ended with the One
whose glory fills heaven and earth. Blessed Redeemer, let me now open my heart
to meditate acceptably on your love and tenderness and strength. Make the grace
of God the theme of my thinking today. Let me not be even one hour without
thinking of him whose wounds paid for my sins! I ask it in Jesus name.

THIS WEEKS EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

GIVE GOD THE FIRST PART OF EVERY DAY. The first commitment is
to a daily quiet time with God. Our weekly Prayer Diary provides a template for daily
devotions.

TITHEWORK

1 Cor 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God
hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
GIVE GOD THE FIRST DIME OF EVERY DOLLARno questions
asked. Ten percent is a miniscule amount in our affluent society, but it must come
off the top in order to show that God is our priority. We want the blessing of the
firstfruits (first devotion, first dime and first day) to flow out to the rest of our
resources.
3)

TEAMWORD

Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
GIVE GOD THE FIRST DAY OF EVERY WEEK. You should fellowship
with a group of believers around the word of God every Sunday in our church.

QUALITY CHRISTIANITY INVOLVES THREE THINGS

Keeping Christ at the center (your core relationship of worship to God)

Keeping the body of Christ a priority (your congregational relationship of
walking with us)
Basing beliefs and actions on the mind of Christ (your church relationship in
the Word)

Baptists tend to ridicule liturgical churches that use "prepared prayers" because
they lack spontaneity. But for many Baptists, their prayers are so predictable they are
no more spontaneous than written-out prayers. The result is we end up praying the
same things over and over.

THIS WEEK
NO evening service Note: The Gym is closed for refurbishing this week!
NO AWANA or Wed PM Service Until January 4, 2017
NO Tuesday Bible Study Until January 17, 2017
NO Mens Workout Tuesday or Thursday

This daily Prayer Diary will prompt you on a wide range of prayer requests you
might not normally think of, while forcing you to articulate a deeper devotion to
God. We have included a daily Bible reading schedule. This plan will take you
through the Bible chronologically in a year.

FRIDAY 5:00P.M.
Ministerio Hispano La Cosecha Navidad

Do not read ahead and do not try to catch up. Use each day as it comes. Then
you can know that on any given day, dozens of other people are lifting their hearts in
the same mind to God. Pray what is written, but use what is prayed as a springboard
for your own relationship with God. You learn to pray by praying.

Secret prayer is the secret of prayer, the soul of prayer, the seal of prayer, the
strength of prayer. If you do not pray alone you do not pray at all. Our Lord Jesus
Christ would go nowhere till He had prayed. He would attempt nothing till He had
prayed.
Oh, says one, I live in the spirit of prayer, and therefore I do not need times
and seasons for prayer. And do you think that Christ did not live in the spirit of
prayer? Yet He had to have his special time and place to pray. Do not fall under the
injurious notion that because your spirit cries to God in prayer all day long, therefore
there must not be some season for more immediately coming into Gods presence. If
you imagine this, I am afraid that it will prove a snare to your feet. The Lord Jesus
Christ, who knew better than you do that the main thing is the spirit of prayer rather
than the act of prayer, yet Himself retired into desert places to maintain the act and
exercise of prayer. Be spiritual. Be baptized into the spirit of prayer. But do not be
deceived by the enemy, who can steal a spirit away while we dream that we only
spiritualize it. We had better preserve the very bones of prayerthe posture, the
time, placerather than let it all ooze away into an impalpable mental condition.
God keep us prayerful. He will do so if He makes us like His dear Son.
Charles H. Spurgeon, 1834-92
