Such a gigantic programme was not conducted before in the rural areas till that

time. More than hundred acres of plain land was taken roads arranged stalls
arranged for the exhibition especially relating to agriculture. Various
departments co- operated to make success the fair. Irrigation pump sets, seeds
fertilizers pesticides, agricultural equipments stalls opened. For children as
well as grown recreation jaint wheel and such play things stall was also
opened the modern advanced methods with scientifically based , in
horticulture , sciriculture, floriculture , was introduced to the farmers theoretically
and practically.
The chief minister of Karnataka the agriculture minister of central government
a band of officials as well as state and central visited the fair and admired the
effort of deputy commissioner M.R.Sanjaygupta the whole people of the
neighbouring villages visited and surprised about the fair.
In the village also so many goober gas plants were installed . Square stones

way mud roads were disappeared. Bore wells were grilled and water was filled to
previously constructed tank . A clean and healthy water was supplied through
pipes. Systems were arranged in several streets . Street lights were arranged in
every street. In this way a new festive look got the village. A new enthusiasm
was awakened.

In the faces of villagers. So to say from all this muthur people were completely
awakened and set right to aware of their privileges.
Twenty and 21st centuries our young people are working in all fields there are
teachers , doctors , engineers, lawers , professors ,business management
graduates and post graduates , in the field of agriculture grapes became an
important crop of our village along with sericulture . Scarcity of water and
decreasing in availability of labours made disastrous in agriculture. So people
went in search of different jobs for their livelihood. Politically Muthur people are
now advanced and becoming the directors presidents and vice presidents of
various institutions. 1960 70 MRL Murthy started young farmers association
and with youngsters made useful social activities in the village just like roads
widening.
In the fields of drama , drumbeating , flute etc our villagers are showing their
talent. In drumbeating . Buchhannachar in flute his elder brother Gnana
murtthachar were experts . Many dramas relating to our puranas ( epics ) staged
by our farmers. At the time of transplanting in the paddy fields the female
labourers were singing folk songs melodiously.
