Flying Machines
Hot Air Balloon:

A hot air balloon is a lighter than air

aircraft consisting of a bag called the
envelope that is capable of containing
heated air. Suspended beneath is a
gondola or wicker basket (in some
long-distance or high-altitude balloons,
a capsule), which carries passengers
and (usually) a source of heat, in most
cases an open flame. The heated air
inside the envelope makes it buoyant
since it has a lower density than the
relatively cold air outside the
envelope. As with all aircraft, hot air
balloons cannot fly beyond the
atmosphere. Unlike gas balloons, the
envelope does not have to be sealed
at the bottom since the air near the
bottom of the envelope is at the same
pressure as the air surrounding. For
modern sport balloons, the envelope is
generally made from nylon fabric and
the inlet of the balloon (closest to the
burner flame) is made from fire
resistant material such as Nomex.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes:

An airplane or aeroplane (informally plane)

is a powered, fixed-wing aircraft that is
propelled forward by thrust from a jet engine
or propeller. Airplanes come in a variety of
sizes, shapes, and wing configurations. The
broad spectrum of uses for airplanes
includes recreation, transportation of goods
and people, military, and research.

Drones

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV),

commonly known as a drone, as an
unmanned aircraft system (UAS), or by
several other names, is an aircraft without a
human pilot aboard. The flight of UAVs may
operate with various degrees of autonomy:
either under remote control by a human
operator, or fully or intermittently
autonomously, by onboard computers.

Rocket

Muhammad Hubaib

The first rockets NASA built to

launch astronauts were the Saturn
I, the Saturn IB and the Saturn V.
These rockets were used for the
Apollo missions. The Apollo
missions sent men to the moon. A
Saturn V also launched the
Skylab space station. The space
shuttle uses rocket engines.

In the context of spaceflight, a satellite is an

artificial object which has been intentionally placed
into orbit. Such objects are sometimes called
artificial satellites to distinguish them from natural
satellites such as Earth's Moon.

Private jet

Muhammad Hubaib

A business jet, private jet, or biz jet, or simply B.J. is a jet aircraft designed for
transporting small groups of people. Business jets may be adapted for other roles,
such as the evacuation of casualties or express parcel deliveries, and some are used
by public bodies, government officials or the armed forces.
The very light jet (VLJ) is a recent classification, initiated by the first one : the
Eclipse 500, introduced on December 31, 2006, which was originally available
at around US$1.5 million, cheaper than existing business jets and comparable
with turboprop airplanes. It accompanied a bubble for air taxi services,
exemplified by DayJet which ceased operations on September 2008, Eclipse
Aviation failed to sustain its business model and filed for bankruptcy in February
2009
