down, work the backside Slant(s) off a 3-step drop as you normally would in 99.

SLANT. Push one step upfield, Speed Break, snap head around on Skinny Slant. Expect the ball right
away and get NORTH immediately after catching it. Know where next LB in front of you is!
FS MID: JUKE.
JUKE. Turn & face QB right where you are. Receive ball on upfield number and ATTACK straight North & South
with pads forward to get six yards. Look to split short defenders!
FS OUTS: GO POCKET.
POCKET. MUST Outside release regardless. Attract CB’s attention.

QB: Look at the pre-snap alignment of the short defender, throw where he isn’t on the snap. If throwing Slant, see
MLB in front of it, keep him as skinny as you can with the throw. If throwing the Juke, get the ball on his upfield

“CRACK SCREEN”
FS Ins & Outs Rec: CRACK.
CRACK. Identify 1st short defender
