Levelling The Physician

You get experience while operating on sims, crafting potions, and researching at the
archive. The Diagnose Interaction:- its fast and nets a set amount of xp. Use it on the
sim over and over again to earn gobs of experience. The apply first aid interaction
works similarly.
Earning Money as a Physician
They only need to perform surgeries to make some pretty good dough. Another
option is to collect herbs and sell Potions. You aren't required to diagnose Sims in the
waiting room. It's more efficient to select the operating table. Sometimes, if no one is
available on the list there, you can diagnose and find an undetected illness to work
on.
The Clinic
Clinic is one of the most cramped buildings in all of Medieval. Relocating the Archive
to the operating room or upstairs is a good idea to give just a little more floor space
to get around. Inside this building are the aforementioend archive, an operating
table, and crafting table. All three of these are required for a Physician to perform
their duties in practicing medicine.
Performing Surgery
Once a Sim has been diagnosed, they will either have an injury or illness. Injuries
require surgery and Illness/sicknesses require medication and bloodletting. Apply
leeches or anaesthesia until the arrow is in the gold region of the chart. Be gentle.
Collecting Leeches and Herbs
Herbs and leeches are both used at the operating table. You can find leeches in
ponds and streams. They'll appear as murky green bubbly areas.
When you have some medicine like a Tonic or Drunk-Me-Not, you can medicate the
town well by clicking it.
Physician Daily Responsibilities
Diagnose 2 Sims - Click and Diagnose is under the Physician menu. They don't
have to be sick, and you'll get the XP!
Medicate 2 Sims on the Operating Table - You can click the table and a list of
any Sims nearby with sicknesses will come up, without diagnosing them first.
Successfully Catch Leeches 3 Times - I prefer a spot down by the mill. Don't
bother searching the beach.
Successfully Gather Herbs 5 Times - As I said, there are 9 herbs outside the
Clinic. If they're gone, there are at least 10 around the castle grounds
Pay Taxes - $100 Level 1-4, $250 5-9, $500 Level 10
Craft and Deliver a Weak Curative Tonic - Make these ahead of time and you'll
only have to deliver them, easily completing this responsibility
Craft and Deliver a Weak Health Salve - as above
Research Symptoms for 2 Hours - The interaction gives poor XP but is done at
the Archive.
Give First Aid to 2 Sims - Quick and easy, just click 2 Sims and find First Aid in the
Physician Menu

Jokester
Jokester is not a very helpful trait in The Sims Medieval. It will increase the impact of
all Jokes and how much they move the friends bar, and give a few extra joke options
under the Traits social menu.
Loves Family
Sims with this trait will get a +20 buff any time they're around family.
Scholarly
Scholarly Sims see various benefits. They are the real bookworms of The Sims
Medieval. 'Read a Good Book' buff. Examining an object will give a +15 3 hour buff
called 'Fascinated'.
Solitary
The Sims Medieval's solitary trait behaves much the same as its counterpart in The
Sims 3.

Unkempt
Unkempt Sims don't mind being filthy.
Vain
Vain is a trait that gives a nice buff when a Sim sees himself in the mirror
Whale Ate My Parents
Sims with this Trait will have a need for hunting whales
Fatal Flaws
Bloodthirsty
Bloodthirsty sims want to fight often
Cowardly
Scary situations" may cause your Sim to run away
Cruel
Like Bloodthirsty Sims, Cruel Sims need to let off some steam every once in awhile
Cursed
Avoid activities such as swordfighting and card playing.
Drunkard
Just put a cask right in the eating area and make it a habit for your Hero to have one
drink after a meal
Fool
Fools gain 20% less XP at ongoing activities like Practicing Military Strategy,
Practicing on the Training Dummy, or Sailing to Foreign Territories to Trade.
Glutton
Another one to avoid.
Hubris
Basically with Hubris your Sim gets so full of themselves when good things happen
Insecure
A 'safe' pick.
Insomniac
One of the less annoying Fatal Flaws.
Licentious
Need lots of lovin'
Misanthrope
Characters who hate people and simple can't stand being around them.
Morose
It just needs to run its course.
Puny
Never fight with anyone. Puny Sims have issues with mirrors and will not enjoy the
benefits of checking themselves out.
Uncouth
There are no debuffs from this Fatal Flaw. Every once in awhile things your Sim says
will have a negative reaction from someone else
Weak Constitution
The Medieval version of acid reflux. Sims with this Fatal Flaw are also more
susceptible to getting sick

Aspects
Aspects are a gauge of your Kingdom's current state of being. They determine what
life is like for Sims in the kingdom and which quests are available.
