1. Write on the board: What are good


places to visit a city? What are good
ways to travel around the city? (Do you
prefer to travel with a group or
individually? What kind of
transportation do you prefer to use when
you travel in a city? Which season do
you like to travel?) Discuss with the
person next to you.
2. Write the following categories on the
board: seasons, months, days, places in
a city. Work in pairs to write four things
for each category. Then T write on the
board with SSs answers.
3. Open your book and turn to page 41.
This is a travel website. Read the
passage and then mark items she
described. Check your answers with
your partner. Check answers in class.
4. Read the website again. Which of these
things do not have a capital letter?

1. Discuss with the person next to you:
Have you ever been to the City of
Atlanta? What do you know about the
city of Atlanta? [the capital of the state
of Georgia, in the southeaster US, best

CNN, host city of the 1996 Olympics.]
2. On page 40 is a map of Atlanta. What
can you see in the map? What can you
do in these places?

During Listening
