O lympic Park, Seoul - The Philippines showcased


the culture and talents of the Cordillerans in the
4th International Migrants’ Arirang Festival as spon-
sored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
and the Migrants’ Arirang of South Korea last May 11.
With this year’s theme “Journey to the World Village”,
the Yongsan Shalom House Chaplain Fr. Peter Choi
together with Brenda Bryan and Anthony Pilamon in
full support invited the Cordillera Brotherhood
Organization (CBO).
Chapter groups of the CBO from Bontoc, Mabuda and
Kiangan performed traditional Igorot dances like Talik,
Pattong, Tayaw, Balangbang and a handkerchief
dance.
Also, the group featured some native costumes from
the mountainous region of the Philippines and
performed live rock, Korean and western country
