RICE BOWL STARTUP AWARD: THE FIRST STARTUP AWARDS FOR ASEAN
The Rice Bowl Startup Awards (RBSA) is the first annual startup awards in the Southeast Asia to
celebrate the spirit of innovation and achievement in the regional startup ecosystem. We
recognise the excitement, risk and hard- work involved in developing a startup and the influence
each person has on driving the success of their company. RBSA aims to bring light to exemplary
entrepreneurship and inspire a networking community of startup enthusiasts, serial
entrepreneurs, and diverse mentors. Every country will produce a Country Winner from each
category that will move on to the Grand Finale at the end of September 2016, in Philippines.
We are the ASEAN region owner of The Global Startup Awards (GSA) - an organisation that
provides an annual spotlight focus to web/tech startups in 25 countries across the globe.

INNOVATUBE AS COUNTRY PARTNER OF RBSA

As the country partner for the Rice Bowl Startup
Awards in Vietnam, Innovatube would be in charge
of ensuring that there would be enough startup
nominations in the country.
We would be selecting and managing their countrys
respective ambassadors to ensure information will
be disseminated in the most eective manner.
We would also host the national event which would
be self-funded and will share the profit from this
event with RBSA, if any.

ABOUT INNOVATUBE
We are a technology start-up incubator that operates in Hong
Kong, Singapore, Vietnam and the United Kingdom. We are a
passionate group who aims to make an impact in the current
start-up scene, which was founded by two international serial
entrepreneurs.In Vietnam, our focus is to make it easier for
local startups to leverage the resources in regional ecosystem.

Founder Of The Year - An individual that has shown
great leadership in the past year. Notable achievements
could be fund raising / great customer growth / good
financials/ Great leadership.

Developer Hero - An individual has showcased his/her

talent either by building a tool or, a product or the
individual that has contributed to the developer
ecosystem.
Best Social Entrepreneurial Tech Startup - Best Tech
Startup with a product of service within the field of social
entrepreneurship that has created the most impact and or
growth.
Startup Journalist of the Year - This person has
displayed passion for the startup scene by providing
insightful and impacting coverage as either a blogger or a
journalist. The winner would be a person that has
produced stories the past years with impact and original
angles. This person has shown a persevering interest in
the topic.
