2. Teacher divides students into 4


groups and gives each group an
envelope with cut-outs related to the
topic of the lesson. The teacher unveils
the flip-chart and shows them a twocolumn table. The teachers starts
reviewing the knowledge they have on
both tenses and each team has to look
in the envelope and find the time
adverbs related to the verbal tense the
teachers is talking about and and come
up to the flip chart and stick it in the
right column.

3. Meanwhile, teacher gently corrects


the students or simply draws attention
to the mistake by repeating it with a
higher pitch. If the student doesnt
realise the mistakes the teacher asks
