a. H20 TIMBER BEAM AND WALER

This is a common method of formwork system which utilizes H20 timber beam and Waler to
connect within themselves and provides an easy and time saving solution to the casting of
column.

b. PANEL SYSTEM
Panel systems are also one of the effective methods to make easy and safe casting for the
columns and walls. It comprises of aluminum panels and locks. Components used will be less
than the H20 and waler system.

2. WALL FORMWORK
a. DOUBLE SIDED WALL FORMWORK
These kinds of wall formworks are utilized at the areas where both sides
of the walls are accessible and the system arrangement is same as column
formwork and the tie rods are used for preventing the expansion of formworks
while concreting.
This is a best way for the condition of mass wall concreting which saves a lot of
time and expels all the adverse effects of using the traditional formwork system.
Once these panels are fabricated moving and erection is easy which leads to a lot
of savings in construction cost.

b. SINGLE SIDED FORMWORK

These kinds of formworks are utilized in those areas where the one side is not
available for fixing the formwork panels. Because of various conditions like soil
boundary etc.

the construction easier.

3. SLAB FORMWORK
a. CUPLOCK SYSTEM
Cup lock systems are designed to meet the requirements of the construction and
housing industry. The cup lock system is widely used due to :

In the cup lock and decking system the scaffolding erection is done by cup and
locking system and plywood supports are done by decking and infill beams which
acts as intermediate transom to the plywood.

b. CUPLOCK SYSTEM WITH H20 BEAMS

This system also utilizes the same function of decking and infill beam
system with a difference that here H20 timber beams are used for the support of
the plywood.

c. H20 PROP SYSTEM

H20 prop system is entirely different from cup lock system but anyway the
function is same as it is also used for slab scaffolding. The main difference
between H20 prop system and cup lock is that in this system the H20 beams are
supported by heavy duty props instead of cups and locks. This system is more
flexible and easy and contains very less materials consists of tubular props, tripod
stands, fork heads, H20 timber beams and shuttering panels. This system can be
used up to a clear height of 5.9 mtr. Mainly used at villa projects or around lifts
and staircases or as manually handled slab formwork system with limited crane
capacity, as the system is fully crane independent.

d. TABLE SYSTEM
Table system is quick and effective solutions for multi-story buildings within the
slab depth of maximum 600 mm. with few components the table system is erected
and repositioned with minimum efforts. It is easily to relocate either using wheels
or by frames.

4. ACCESS SCAFFOLDING
Access scaffolding is mainly used for external works like painting ,plastering or block
work erection. Cup lock system including standards and ledgers are used commonly for
this system.

SAFETY SYSTEM
Herald contracting possess a well-deserved reputation of never compromising on safety

BS 2482 and we strictly follow BS 5973 for DESIGN, ERECTION and
