Responsibility

Analyzereliabilityofelectronicscomponents,subassemblies,andsystems
WorkwithdesignteamstoapplyDesignforReliability(DfR)
Reviewnewproductdesignsandengineeringchangeswithrespecttoproduct
reliability,userrequirementsandwarrantyinformation.
Conductreliabilityanalysis,calculation,simulationandlifepredictionforthe
electronicssolution
Developreliabilitytestplansandprocedures,toensureproductmeetslife
requirements.
Isolateandidentifycriticaltoqualityrequirementsspecificallyonelectronicdesign
featuresandproductcomponentinteractions.
Guideprojectteamsinreliabilitytoolssuchasdesignfailuremodeandeffects
analysis(DFMEA),andcriticaltoqualitymatrix(QFD).
Reportandpresentproductinformationutilizingstatisticaltechniques,reliability
distributionsandmatrices.
Ensuretimelyfailurereporting,rootcauseanalysisandeffective
corrective/preventativeactions.
Driveknowledgesharingofpastrootcausecorrectiveactionsacrosstheteam
RequiredtocapturetechnologyrelatedLessonsLearneditemsandincludethese
intheLessonsLearnedregister.Eachitemmustbeevaluatedtoensurethatthe
LessonsLearneddatabaseavoidserrors,conflictinginformation,repetitionand
invalidclaims.Significantlessonsshouldbebroughttobusinessattention.

Requirement

Minimumof68yearsrelatedworkingexperiencewithinresearchordevelopment
department.
MinimumBachelorDegreein(Electrical/Electronics/Communication)orequivalent.
Experienceinareliability/qualityengineeringpositioninafastpaced
manufacturingenvironmentpreferred.
KnowledgeofElectronicsandElectricalComponents,StatisticalTechniques,
DesignofExperiments(DOE),SPCisrequired.
FamiliarwithFMEAandhighreliabilityassemblymethodsandprocesses.
Skillandexpertisetocollectandanalyzedata,summarizefindings,develop
conclusions,andproposerecommendationsfromappropriatedatasources.
Demonstratedabilitytotakeownershipofissues,initiateactionplans,andmake
effectivedecisionstoobtainresolution.
Abilitytoworkindependentlyandbeeffectiveinafastpaced,evolving,and
growingenvironment.
Stronganalytical,problemsolvingandinterpersonalskillsrootcauseanalysis,
statisticalmethods
