Vaccinations
I confirm my pet is up to date on vaccination and will bring the copies of
vaccination record for our file. Puppy must be up to date on puppy

vaccination. Adult/Senior dogs must be current on Rabies. Kennel cough

(Bordetella) is not required but on your own risk.

Dangerous/Aggressive animals-refusal of services

Meetz Pet Grooming has the right to refuse any services at any time. If your
pet is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, Meetz Pet Grooming has
the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel
grooming services at any time before, during, or after grooming and client
will be charged a grooming fee (for what was done up until that point.)
Accidents/ Veterinarian
it is very rare but there is a risk when dealing with pets. Grooming equipment
is sharp and we use extreme caution and care in all situation. Problems could
occur cuts, nicks, scratches, quickening of nails, etc. in most cases this can
happen when a pet is wiggling or moving around. Your pets safety and
comfort is our number one propriety. In the even an accident does occur, you
will be notified of the accident. If Meetz Pet Grooming feels its serious, and
will bring the pet to their veterinarian on your information provided. We will
not held responsible for any sickness or injury caused by the pet to itself
during the grooming. Please be ensure your pet is in healthy position before
bringing to Meetz Pet Grooming. Meetz Pet Grooming is not responsible for
any accidental death of pet of the nature of pre-existing health condition or
natural disasters. If your pet have previous injury, please do tell your
groomer so they can be cautious.
Fleas/Tick
If we discovered fleas on your pet, we will give your pet a flea dip. If you do
not wish, you must pick your pet immediately at no exception.
Cancellation/ No Call, No Show
At Meetz Pet Grooming we required 48 hours notice of cancellation of your
appointment. If there is a cancellation less than 24 hours... $25.00 will be
charged on your next grooming appointment. If no show without notice, $50
will be charged and must be prepaid before your dog admit to Meetz Pet
Grooming.
Interruptions during grooming services
for the safety of the pet being groomed, as well as the professional pet
groomer, it is asked that you do not interrupt during the grooming. If you
arrive to pick up your pet and it is still being groomed, please DO NOT talk to
your pet or allow him/her to see you. Please Step outside for a few moments
until the groom is completed. Every effort will made to insure your pet is

groomed as safely as possible, but an excited pet can be dangerous to

continue to work on. If you insist on talking to your pet, we reserve the right
to end the grooming session, even if the groom is not completed and the full
grooming price will be charged.

Meetz Pet Grooming Humane Grooming Policies

At Meetz Pet Grooming, we always strive to give our customers the haircuts
they request for their dogs. However, we will not, under any circumstances,
cause discomfort your dog for the sake of a preferred haircut.
1) If your dog has any health issues that affect his/her ability to stand or
need to have their limbs manipulated in order to achieve a certain
trim, we will encourage our customer to put their dog into a more
suitable trim based on each dogs health issue. When your dogs health
is comprised, we go for comfort and cleanliness, not perfection.
2) If your dog is matted to the point it cannot be humanely brushed out,
they will be put into a short kennel clip. The length will be determined
by the severity of matting. Pets with severely matted coats require
extra attention. Mats in a pets coat grow tight, and can ultimately
damage and tear the pets skin which provide a breeding ground for
parasite infestations. Mats can be very difficult to remove. Heavy
matting can also trap moisture and procedures can include itchiness,
skin redness, self-inflicted irritation or abrasions and failure of the hair
to grow. We will not be held responsible for clipper burn and/or minor
nicks resulting from grooming of matted, neglected coat or for irritation
caused by removing coat from pets possessing mild to severe skin
allergy. There will be an additional extra charge will be applied to
severely matted/ neglected pets; it is time consuming, and causes
extra wear and tear on grooming equipment. Regular grooming should
be 4-6 weeks.

3) Dogs that are difficult for their faces due to infected teeth, sight
problems or another issues may not receive the quality of groom you
may have had in the past. We never push a dog to the point of stress.

4) If your dog has anxiety issues or is easily stressed, we will not hurry
their clip. Dogs with these type of issues take more time and patience
and therefore we will require extra time for the clip.
5) The same policy will sometimes apply to a puppys first grooming. We
want a puppys first grooming experience to be a positive one.

6) We will pluck healthy hair in ear canals (when it is overdue/necessary)

but not infected ears. This type of condition should be under the care
of a veterinarian. Please check with your vet as to his or her
recommendations.

7) We recommend not to do anal gland but if you provided the

veterinarians note that your dog required anal gland express due to its
health issue or sign a waiver form.
8) We recommend not to shave a doubled coat/heavy coat but we will do
on your request after your sign a waiver form.

I have reviewed this service contact for accuracy and understand the
contents of this contract. I affirm that I am the rightful legal owner of
the pet(s) for which services are being rendered. I authorize this signed
contact to be valid approval for future grooming services. Permitting
Meetz Pet Grooming to accept email/or text for service without
additional signed contract or written authorization. I understand that
pricing is subjected to change. I have read, signed and agreed to the
above.
