REQUIREMENTS
General Requirements
Scope

The purpose of this procedure is to define the recovery from a failure with the Telemetry
Transmitter or a switch from one Telemetry Transmitter to the other. The spacecraft utilizes two
telemetry transmitters that provide the telemetry link. If a hard failure occurs with the primary
telemetry transmitter, no telemetry will be received. However, command functions should still be
available, allowing a commanded switchover to the redundant TTX.

Constraints

The mission director must approve the use of this procedure. If no telemetry is being received,
execute the Spacecraft Loss of Uplink and Downlink procedure prior to executing this procedure.
This procedure is based on a nominal entrance configuration; that is, the active BBE routing
telemetry to the active TTX.
