Guiding Questions for the Inquiry Presentations


The following questions should be addressed during the inquiry presentation:

What is your inquiry question?


Why did you choose this inquiry? Why is it important?
What did I learn from my research so far? (Previous research/research
review)
How do you plan to execute this inquiry in the classroom? What is my action
plan?
What are some possible obstacles you might face when pursuing this
inquiry?
What do you expect to learn during from this inquiry? (i.e. what results do
you expect to find/ how may this affect your teaching going forward?)

Why are you interested in your inquiry question
How you would proceed in answering your inquiry question
Be well-informed AKA know your stuff
Include the rationale (why did you choose the topic)
Stay on topic and connected to the question
5 min to 10 max.
coherent and organized (clear intro, body and conclusion)
communicated in a way that others understood your inquiry
give examples
visual matches the topic of presentation
may involve some group activity or audience participation
demonstrate a keen interest in your topic
make the topic clear and understandable to the audience
