SUPPLY AND DILIVERY OF uPVC PIPES, FITTINGS, SPECIALS FOR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
Note:
(1) All the uPVC fittings shall be injection moulded type except for bends.
(2) Joint rings shall be of EPDM
(3) Flanges shall be of PN 10 for type 600 (or equivalent) fittings and PN 16 for type 1000
(or equivalent)fittings
(4) For Type 600 uPVC Fittings
If fittings are imported ,they shall be of class C (9.0 bar) as per BS 3505; 1986
(5) For Type 1000 uPVC Fittings
If fittings are imported ,they shall be of class D (12.0 bar) as per BS 3505; 1986
(6) If DI fittings are offered in lieu of PVC Fittings the additional fittings required to
join DI to PVC shall be supplied and all the items shall conform to the specification.
(7) All rates & prices shall be exclusive of VAT, which should only be shown separately in the
summary. As for the Bid evaluation purposes these rates &
exclusive of VAT.
