I plan on using this because this New York Times article shows good
information based on the shootings that occurred against the bonus army. It
helps explain in a little more depth of the story of some of the shootings that
happened. The article was written to be against the veterans however, so it
was very biased.

This book was used to help get a more detailed and explained view
on what the bonus army was, who they were, and Walter Waters role in

This source shows a personal opinion and reaction to the bonus army. The
women stated in a scary matter what it felt like to be a bystander in the whole
situation. This source gives us valuable firsthand experience information that
we can use to argue my point of the Bonus Army standing up for their right.

We plan on using this website for valuable information because it tells us a lot
about how the protest from the veterans led to the GI bill. It also shows vivid
information in regarding numbers of how many veterans were there and how
many encampments were built.

Waters and how he became to be. Article also shows how he influenced
others to join the Bonus Army. It wasn't until washington when Walter W.
Waters gained full leadership.

This source is useful to us because it shows the President's reaction to the
situation and his strategy at the time to deal with it. In this letter, he tells the
commissioner that they have to deal with it decisively. It is a valuable piece of
information because it greatly shows Hoovers off the bat decision about what
to do.

We used the wikipedia for the Bonus Army to get multiple images which
include of a stampage that shows one of the forms of protesting the people of
the time used. Many pictures were used as well which include of a house the
army burned down to get rid of the veterans. As well as a picture involving
violence between police and veterans.

protesting alongside the Bonus Army. It helps represent the sheer numbers
the Bonus Army came in. It also showed us encampments that they made in
Washingotn D.C.
