INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR

PA210 ALIGNER CABINET (INTERNATIONAL VERSION)
This procedure should only be performed by an authorized Hunter factory
representative.
This document provides information for assembling the PA210 aligner cabinet for international use.

ASSEMBLE CABINET
Unbox the cabinet and remove shipping brackets securing it to the pallet.
Remove the contents of the cabinet, then tilt the cabinet upside down onto cardboard, furniture blanket or other
soft surface in order to protect the finish.
Remove the shipping brackets Install the casters using the keps nuts (76-177-2), lock washers (77-60-2) and flat
washers (77-20-2) from the hardware kit 20-3119-1.
Install the locking casters on the front side of the cabinet.

Flip the cabinet right side up onto the casters to continue the assembly procedure.

Remove the rear cover by removing the six RHMS screws securing it.

INSTALL COMPONENTS
Place the monitor on top of the cabinet, using the support stand supplied by the monitor manufacturer. Route the
video and power cables through the hole in the top of the cabinet and down through the side as shown.
It may be necessary to remove the grommet, pass the cables through the grommet,
then re-insert it into the cabinet sheet metal.

Place the mouse and keyboard on top of the cabinet, route the USB cables through the hole in the top of the
cabinet and down through the side as shown.

Route the XF2 pod cable through the hole in the top of the cabinet, leave some slack free in order to move the
pod around if necessary to maximize signal reception.
Place the PC into the left side of the cabinet.

If applicable, install the printer on the upper shelf.

PC CONNECTIONS
Make the connections at the PC as shown.
Verify power input switch setting is correct before connecting to power. PC damage can occur
if the power input switch setting is incorrect.

Connect the printer to one of the front panel USB ports.

Press in and release the upper left corner of the cover panel to open it. These two USB ports can also be used to
connect any other auxiliary device such as a flash drive.

PRINTING TO A FLASH DRIVE

In order to print to a flash drive, such as when creating an Installation Report, the system will look for a named
flash drive connected to one of the open USB ports. The drive must be named and formatted correctly following
these guidelines:
Must be a named drive, such as REPORT. From a PC, right click the drive then select Rename.
Must be formatted as FAT32. From a PC, right click the drive, then select Format. Be sure to choose FAT32,
a Quick Format will suffice.
Must not be named DATA, LOGGING, or PROGRAM. These drive names are part of the software and
must not be duplicated.
If there happens to be two flash drives available to print to, the PA200 will choose the
first drive in alphabetical order. For example a drive named REPORT would be printed
to before a drive named TEST.
Screens that are printed to the USB drive are saved as images in .PNG format. The Installation Report is saved
as a .xml (text) file.

CREATING AN INSTALLATION REPORT

1. Install a FAT32 formatted USB drive named REPORT, then power on the PC.
2. Press the softkey Create Installation Report (level 3 on the logo screen).
3. Enter an optional suffix for the file name if you like when prompted, then press OK.
4. The file will be on the USB drive with a unique generated name ending in the suffix that was entered, if any.

USB BOX FUSE
Open the receptacle door by gently prying on the side as shown, remove the fuse holder by gently prying it out.

Install the appropriate fuse in the insert as shown. The fuse can only be installed on one side of the insert, and
the insert can only be installed in the receptacle one way.
Fuse rating depends on the supply voltage to the USB box:

It is always recommended that the PC be shut down before turning off power to the cabinet. Not
doing so may damage internal PC components.

Connect the PC, monitor and printer (if applicable) power cables to the USB box switched plugs using the
appropriate adaptors.
The intended settings for the sensor power mode switch are:

For installations with cordless conventional sensors, connect the charging harness to the CHARGE PWR port.

SECURITY KEYS
Remove the four screws to open the back cover of the USB electronic assembly.

Confirm that the correct Hunter electronic key(s) are included PRIOR to opening the packet. Once
opened, the contents of the package may not be returned.

5. Install electronic keys into the sockets on the board within the USB electronic assembly.
6. Reinstall USB back cover and secure with previously removed screws.
7. Reinstall the cabinet back cover using the six previously removed screws. If DSP700 sensors are to be used
with on-cabinet charging, leave the back panel off so that the charging harness can be routed.

DSP700 CHARGING HARNESS (IF APPLICABLE)

DSP700 series sensors can be recharged on the side of the cabinet using the charging harness kit 20-2901-1.
The charging harness plugs into the side of the USB box and has charge leads that route to holes in the side of
the cabinet.
Connect the charging harness to the USB box SENSOR CHARGING POWER connector.
Route the individual harness leads along the inside of the cabinet as shown. The charging leads are different
lengths.

The cables are numbered by length from one to four, one being the shortest and four
being the longest.

Secure the charging jacks to the side of the cabinet using the threaded retainers included in the kit.

ADAPTOR STORAGE BRACKETS

Secure the wheel adaptor storage brackets to the side of the cabinet using four screws per bracket. The brackets
are slotted so the screws can be loosely threaded into the cabinet first. Be sure to tighten the screws once the
brackets are positioned.
Hang the wheel adaptors horizontally on the brackets.

FINALIZE INSTALLATION
Place the XF pod on the top or side of the cabinet and route the data cable into the cabinet through the hole in
the top. Connect the pod to the XF POD PORT on the USB box.
Connect power and the camera sensor cable (if equipped) to the USB box and power on the PC.

If using camera based sensors, aim cameras and calibrate them if not already done, according to the sensor
installation manual.
If using DSP700 series sensors, calibrate and charge them according to their installation manual.

ACCESSORY HANGERS
The steering wheel holder and brake pedal depressor may be stored in the included accessory hangers. The
hangers hook to the lip on the top of the cabinet and may be placed as desired on the sides or rear of the cabinet.
