1. INTRODUCTION
The rapid development of computer network has
produced many convenient applications. For example,
in modern hospital, the patient record is made
electronically and applied with various recourses in
teleconsultation. Many medical images, i.e.
ultrasonography, CT (computerized tomography) and
MR1 (magnetic resonance image), are used to diagnose
the patient's status in the hospitals. Thus there are large
numbers of films for storing medical image in the
hospitals. Now by PACS (Picture Archiving and
Communication System), the whole image diagnosis
system in the hospital can be integrated, the medical
images can be digitized, and the medical image
database can be built, so as to make it convenient for
