Summary:
I presented Ms. Svien with a series of questions about
college life with a specific focus on financial planning and
fields of study. We discussed, via email, certain general
ideas (such as, whether to live on campus or off campus), as
well as specific tips for majoring in English. As a whole,
this was a very helpful interview for my project.

I asked Svien whether it was better to live on

campus or off campus. She told me that living on
campus is the best option for a freshman in college
because it is both economical and a great
opportunity to meet new people.

According to Ms. Svien, Living on campus is a

great experience overall. All of [my] expenses will
be covered in one bill that [I] pay along with [my]
tuition at the beginning of each semester. [I] will
also avoid transportation expenses (Svien).
