us know. It is easy to overlook names when looking
through hundreds of names and being interrupted
numerous times.

Gaither Vocal Band

The Bill Gaither Vocal Band will be in concert at the
Christian Heritage Church in Tallahassee on Saturday,
January 21st, at 6:00 P.M. Normal admission is $26, but
with a group rate the tickets are $20.
The church is located where the Waccamaw was several
years ago. It is also across the street from Fun Station.

We will hold a class to learn CPR basics on Saturday, January 28.

Cost for church members will be $25 and $35 for non members.
We must have a total of 8 in attendance for the class to make. As
of today, we only have two. If you would like to participate,
please call the church office to sign up ASAP!

Start the Year Off Right!

Here are some helpful items as you begin this year's spiritual
growth with your kiddo!
Begin teaching the spiritual discipline of daily reading
God's word. Did you know I can get you an age
appropriate devotional through the Sunday School
curriculum? I would be happy to order you one. Call, text
or email me and I will sign your child up to receive one!
Be involved! There is room for your kiddo in our weekly
mission and discipleship activities. Come be a part of
Mission Kids on Wednesday or AWANA on Sunday
evenings.
Come join the fun! As we look into the year, please be sure
to join us for VBS and CentriKid camp! Both of these
activities are TONS of fun, and also great opportunities to
grow faith.

Disciple Now Weekend is coming up soon. This is

our biggest outreach and discipleship event we do
all year long. This is also one of my favorite
weekends of the entire year. The dates for DNOW
this year are February 17-19. Our students will join
together with 400-500 other students across
Decatur County to worship, to fellowship, and to
engage in small group Bible studies throughout the
weekend.
DNOW weekend could not happen without the help
of so many folks who are always faithful to our
student ministry. If serving during this weekend is
something you would be interested in doing then
please let me know as soon as possible.
This year promises to be a great year. We will be
led by speaker Chris Brooks and worship band J.J.
Weeks Band. Our small group study is call The
Pause and will challenge our students to hit the
pause button and focus on our walk with Jesus.
This is going to be a great weekend.
