Product Description
The WaveStar TM1 can be equipped with one STM-1 optical line interface. This optical interface
is a 1310 nm short-range optical interface compliant with ITU-T Recommendation G.957 S.1.1.
The WaveStar AM1 is equipped with two STM-1 optical line interfaces. These optical interfaces
are 1310 nm short-range optical interface compliant with ITU-T Recommendation G.957 S.1.1.
1+1 MSP protection is also provided.

One of the main features of the WaveStar. ADM 16/1 is the ability to add/drop and flexibly crossconnect 2 Mbit/s directly from the STM-16 level. Other signals that can be connected are: 34, 45,
140, 155 and 620 Mbit/s up to a Total add/drop capacity of 32 x STM-1 or 504 x 2 Mbit/s.
