If this lesson continues into the next block, it can be extended for all students
by having them write 1-2 paragraphs reflecting on what they have learned.
Writing prompt: What did you learn today? What do you want to know more
about? Students can add pictures to their compositions also.
Visual and aural support with language on the PP, and pair work will support
English Language Learners and students who may have language
comprehension and processing issues. Teacher will also repeat and rephrase
key ideas to aid in aural comprehension.
Teacher will use chalk/white board and poster paper if SmartBoard fails.
