Citizens should demand these promises from Political Parties seeking their vote

All Open Spaces will be taken in MCGMs possession. They will be

maintained by MCGM and no private party interests will be created.
Auditing of all Open Spaces will be done by citizen groups appointed and
selected by a transparent process.
Section 64C of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act mandates that
decisions and necessary action on all files should be taken within 45 days,
failing which disciplinary action would be taken against the defaulting
officer. There are numerous cases where citizens get no responses to their
applications/representations or complaints. Action as per law must be
taken against defaulting officers.
Municipal roads are bad. MCGM must ensure that there is a five year
guarantee for bitumen roads and enforce this.
If any potholes are reported they should be repaired in 48 hours.
MCGM must reduce corruption and to measure this, a corruption
perception survey must be conducted every year in each ward and be
displayed. A similar survey should be conducted for cleanliness.
Details of funds spent from corporator funds should be displayed on the
website by each corporator. Audit teams of citizens should be created to
audit these and some other works
A survey of the level of learning in MCGM schools must be conducted each
year and it should improve significantly.
