Mediheal Group is a leading private healthcare service provider in East

Africa with high focus on quality, cost effective healthcare and respect for
human beings. We have facilities in Nairobi, Eldoret, Nakuru & Kigali
offering tertiary level, diagnostic and therapeutic services; we are
expanding with some specialty hospitals and diagnostic centers across East
Africa and coming up as one of the fastest growing Healthcare

Mediheal was founded in 2004, with an objective

of providing world class healthcare. This has
prompted our participation in numerous
charitable endeavors to assist the less fortunate
in the society.
Such deliberate efforts have earned us immense
respect from our trustworthy client-base drawn
from as far as Southern Sudan, Eastern Uganda,
Ethiopia, Rwanda and Burundi, fostering a rapid

provision enabled us to be the pioneers in the fields of
Assisted Reproductive Techniques (also known as test
tube babies and IVF), non-invasive pain management

Treatment (ART) which refers to technologies and associated
methods used to assist people in achieving a pregnancy.
ART is used:

As infertility treatment for couples

By women who cannot become pregnant without treatment

By women who cannot carry a baby in pregnancy or give birth

To reduce the chance of a child inheriting a genetic disease or

abnormality

ART covers a wide spectrum of technologies

Simple Techniques are often attempted initially, as they are less
invasive than more advanced options.

PREGNANCY SUCCESS RATES

Our pregnancy success rates are consistently high; 50-60% for

women less than 35 years of age and 40-50% for women
over 35 years of age

IVF Director

DR. SHOUNAK KHANDWALA is Clinical Director of IVF

at the Mediheal Group since April 2014.
He is currently Consultant IVF at Mediheal diagnostic
and fertility centre, Nairobi.
He is Visiting consultant in IVF at the Mediheal facilities
in Eldoret, Kenya and in Kigali, Rwanda.
Dr. Khandwala has been in practice of Assisted
Reproduction since 1991. Upto 2013 he was with
Bloom ivf group in India.
He has performed more than 50000 ivf cycles in his
career and has helped 20000 couples to be pregnant.
The Mediheal Group does 700 cycles in a year with
clinical pregnancy rate of 45%

Dr. S.R. Mishra Executive Chairman: Founder, Chairman of MEDIHEAL group, Dr. Mishra is a
renowned Gynecologist & Fertility Expert, Internationally known for his academic, Professional &
managerial excellence. He has a Higher Degree in Gynecological Endoscopy Technology from
Kiel School Of Medicine Kiel, Germany. Masters in Obstetrics and Gynecology, got MD Degree
from Dr. S. M. Medical College, Rajasthan University, India. He was also the Chairman of
Reproductive Health Dept, College of Medicine, Moi University, Eldoret.
Dr. Pallavi Mishra- Director & Medical Director: Dr. Pallavi Mishra is the Founding Board Member
of Mediheal Group Ltd. She is an MBBS, MS (Obstetrics & Gynecology). She has been in the field
of IVF for the past 6 years. She manages Intra, Pre and Post ART patients actively at Mediheal
Hospital & Fertility Centre Eldoret, Kenya. Currently she is a faculty member in the Department
of Reproductive Health, College of Health Science, Moi University, Eldoret.
Mr. Salim Hasam-Group Executive chairman: Mr. Salim Hasam is a well known name in the
hospital industry in Kenya. He has more than 35 years of international hospital management
experience. He is the group executive chairman of Mediheal Group of hospitals apart from many
outstanding positions of international repute.
General Tuwei: Director Mediheal Group Ltd.: General Tuwei is former chief army commander
of Kenya Defence Forces and currently he is the president of Athletics Kenya. He has served in
various positions in defense forces of Kenya and East Africa.
Dr. Kiptoo Kipkorir: Director, Mediheal Hospital Nakuru Company Ltd. Dr. Kiptto is doctorate in
environmental studies. He is well known figure and have profound knowledge and understanding
of contemporary issues in Kenyan perspective.

Mr. J.K. Nanda Group Advisor, Mediheal Group Ltd.: An Engineer with Masters in Engineering
and Business administration .Retired as Managing Director & CEO of Bohler Welding India an
Austrian Conglomerate, CEO of Eutectic Castoline Swiss Company-an associate of L&T.. Worked
with Larsen & Toubro MNC over 36 years giant Indian Leading Industry and retired as Vice
President. Travelled all over world on business development. Rich experience in Management,
Finance, HR & Group Management Projects & new ventures. Associated with L&T in setting up a
joint venture In Fabrication at OMAN .
Dr. Umesh Nichat- General Manager, Mediheal Hospital & Fertility Centre, Eldoret: Mr. Umesh
