PROCEDURES
Get-to-Know Task (Group): Were Similar/Were Different

List at least 1 thing that makes you different (ideas)
Compose a funny tweet for your group (with #)English or Tagalog.
The tweet should be relevant to the activity. Be creative.
Note: Do not write about general things but specific things.
Orientation: course content and expectations; and reminders on absences
and tardiness.
Paired Task: 1/8Give your best definition of literature. What writings do we
consider as literature? List as many as you can. (At least 30 words)
Team Task: Why do people read literature? Tell 1 short reason. And, why do
we need to study it? List 5 reasons. (Write in sheet)
Consider these:
1) People have personal reasons for reading a story/poem.
2) The author did not write the story/poem for himself only.
3) There are things in the story/poem that we learn about. What are
they?
4) The story/poem is written in a language. What can we learn from the
language?
5) The story or poem was written during a particular time/period.
Each team will present their reasons on Monday.
REMINDER: There will be a diagnostic test on Monday.
