I would absolutely agree with the decision made by the manager on this because t

he radio station was being criticized from all quarters. The radio station wante
d to attract more listeners hence the decision to play latino and world music wa
s introduced but once they started losing the regular American Folk listeners, t
hey took a wise decision to go back to what they were good at.
For instance the population of native people are much more than the people from
other part of the world put together. The native listeners would want others in
the city to know about the Folk music than the Americans know more about Latino
and World music. After all they are in America.
Adding to the above, the revenue generated would have also considerably reduced
over the past year due to unhappy Native listeners. The Latino and World music p
layed would not have attracted enough listeners as much as the American Folk mus
ic did. As a business banager revenue is his main area of interest. So he would
have obviously seen the financial benifits of moving back to folk music.
I hereby conclude saying that the business manager was right by going back to th
e regular American Folk Music. It is always the right thing to go back to what y
ou know when what you try fails, rather than trying the failure to make it work.
