To Whom It May Concern,

I have been involved in education for almost twenty-five years. During that time, I have worked
with numerous people. Very few of those people possess the quality characteristics of Mrs. Libby
Brozik.
Mrs. Brozik is currently the vocal music teacher at Schroeder Elementary School. She has worked at
Schroeder Elementary and in the Troy School District for the last three years. During this time, she
has done a phenomenal job in building our music program. Libby has many strengths that make her
an outstanding educator. She is highly organized and runs a very organized classroom. She also
creates a positive learning environment in her classroom. Her students genuinely care about each
other and want to see the group succeed. Before each class, Mrs. Brozik stands outside of the
classroom door and greats the students as she plays her ukulele. Libby also is strong instructionally.
She utilizes technology in her classroom, has developed a culture of thinking, and uses instructional
practices that lead to student learning. In addition, Libby is always willing to go above and beyond to
create a strong program and help the school. This is evident her efforts in the Schroeder Singers
Choir, Girls on the Run, and participation in other programs that require extra time and effort.
Throughout the time that I have known Libby, I have been truly impressed with her passion for
helping students in music. This is obvious in two aspects of the music program. One, I can see her
passion for teaching music in every interaction in the classroom. This rubs off on her students and
they create that same appreciation for music. Second, we have tremendous music performances.
Our evening concerts are full of energy and students have the desire to perform in front of other
teachers, students, and parents. Her concerts come to life as students are proud to sing and perform.
Libby is an outstanding contributor to our school and community. I am happy to recommend Mrs.
Libby Brozik for any teaching position in performing arts. If I had the opportunity to hire her a
second time, I would without hesitation. Her efforts will positively impact any community or school
