This serves as a letter of recommendation for Mikayla Davis.

It has been my pleasure to have Mikayla in the Dance Program for four years.
In that time I have observed her growth as a dancer and a young woman.
Mikayla has always pushed herself, whether striving to overcome her
extreme stage fright, pushing herself to achieve in technique or student
choreography, or this year taking on the extreme challenge of the dual roles
of Technical Director and Co-Director of the Winter Dance Concert for her
senior project.
Mikayla has also been involved in the dance program for three years and
heavily involved in our stagecraft/technical theatre program here for three
years. This gave her a unique perspective for this concert, being able to
work from both the artistic side and the technical side. She had to deal with
talent as well as techies, so this was very helpful in her understanding of
issues that came up.
Mikayla was extremely devoted to this entire process, showing up for all
auditions, communicating with me daily to ensure a smooth casting process.
Mikayla spent time after school with me and texted/emailed many evenings
as she created and recreated show orders and continued to rework them with
me.
Mikayla was active in every part of this process, from auditions, to casting, to
tech, to performance, and was professional throughout the process. She was
a great help to me, reducing my workload by handling many issues as they
came up. She was great at problem solving and trouble shooting. In short,
she has been one of my best co-directors.
It is my pleasure to give her a hearty recommendation.
