In this capacity, I have achieved the following goals:
• Completed 2 out of 9 Flagship Branches Projects in the world on IT Infrastructure Setup.
• Worked as a Project Manager at Barclays First Flagship Branch in Middle East at the heart of UAE Capital Abu Dhabi, Al
Jazeera Branch. This included:
o Composition of IT Infrastructure to support Mass and Premier banking, along with corporate office, Business continuity site and
staff training Facility within the same premises.

 • Worked as a Project Manager for Barclays Head Office buildings, in Burj Square, UAE. This 23,000 sq. ft. retail branch caters
for the Mass and Premier Banking franchise as well as 75,000 sq. ft. of head office space. In this capacity, I successfully
delivered the project of total £18m within 8 months. The Project was run under Turner town PMO having Rareform (Architect
firm), WSP as MEP consultant, Al –Tayer stock as Main Contractor and Zener Steward as MEP company working under ATS.
In parallel, Emerging Market CRES, UAE IT Projects and GISD Barclays were also involved for getting the project delivered
before time. The project included:
o Composition of State-of-the-art IT and Audio visual facility in Branch for Mass Banking and Premier banking having Large
Customer lounges, Majlis, Children Area and Branch staff meeting rooms.
o Execution of Emerging market head office, UAE H.O, Wealth Management and Treasury with IT Facilities and Audiovisuals edge
in Board Rooms, Executive Offices, Receptions, Video Conf. Rooms, small meeting rooms.
o Tier3 Data Centre Designed with capacity of 36 Knuer racks and overall facility having Krone & Corning cabling deployed.
o Complete Network Infrastructure of Cisco and Voice Infra of Nortel CS1000E IP telephony & Myna Voice Rec facility along with
producing storage design with GSP.
o Helped in producing SAN design with the help of Global Storage Platform team of Barclays with Hitachi systems.
o Also helped in producing Virtualization project design along with VMware virtualization and NetApp SAN.

• Completed AANDC 3.04 deployment on all ATMs / CDMs which makes the bank’s electronic channel ultimately compliant of
Security Standards PCI DSS and also EMV compliant.

• Deployed Qualys Guard Enterprise for vulnerability assessment also deployed Vontu tool for Data leakage protection.
Secured whole bank devices including ATMs with Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 which covers Antivirus, Antispyware,
Intrusion Prevention, Proactive Threat Scanning and specially Device and Application control features. Deployed Sourcfire
intrusion Detection System to prevent the network from intrusions.

• Apart from the achievement of the above major goals, I am involved in the following day-to-day activities as the IT
Operations & Program Manager:
o Refurbished various retail service centres & head offices across the UAE.
o Deployed and managing 38 Self Service terminals including 25 ATMs and 13 CDMs.
o Managed IT services at various EBU, DSA & HO.
o Follow ITIL process using HP Service Manager.
o Plan BCM along with business BCM coordinator.
o One of the founding members of Barclays Bank Pakistan successfully started the prototype office for Pakistan
