A novice driver learns racing, he has to be safe at


turnings with over steer and under steer. Describe
an electronic system which can detect this and
control the situation.
How important is the sensor redundancy in ECUs,
and how it affects the total electronic system.
Explain how smart nodes plays important role in
sensor network of automobiles.
How ABS and Brake pressure sensor is interrelated.
If you are given a task to automate the transmission
process ( i.e from manual to automatic ) what are
the sensors to be used and where, explain how do
they help in automatic transmission.

What could be the next crisis in automotive industry
related to fuel availability and what could be the
solutions to solve it?
When climbing a hill why is it recommended to
switch to a lower gear? In case of AMT how could
the vehicle sense that it is climbing or going down a
hill?
The term Smooth gear shifting can be attributed to
synchromesh gearbox or dog box?
Also how is DCT so instantaneous and smooth in
gear shifting?
What indication does the car give in the dashboard
when parking brake lever is pulled. Which wheels
usually get locked on pulling the lever? Explain the
reason why drifters use this for drifting
Describe the types of active suspension? How sway
bars helps in improving suspension?
Which steering technology has no mechanical

windows, steel hardened exterior panels and more
engine power in order to escape in an event of
attack. Mainly it employs tires that can keep the car
in motion even after being punctured. What is the
technology and name the terminology created for
these tires. Also what other monitoring technologies
have been implemented into tyres.
How V Development cycle is followed by
manufacturers and mention the two phases of V
Model Development cycle .Which model has it
replaced citing its advantages?
How come energy savings in plug in hybrid be
more than a normal hybrid car? Which one connects
