I am writing to apply for the position of Professor / Associate Professor in your
Engineeing College.I currently working as an Associate Professor / Department of EIE in
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering Bangalore. I was completed my Ph.D in ICE in the
month of Feb 2015.I am extremely interested in obtaining faculty position at your organization,
where I can contribute to its focus on engineering education, continue my research and lead
campus and professional service activities.
My academic training and ten years of experience working as an Assistant Professor
prepare me to be an effective researcher and instructor. My doctoral dissertation was conducted
under the direction of Dr.A.Vimala Juliet, and mainly focuses on optimization of parameters of a
MEMS Accelerometer. In my research I was optimized die area of MEMS Accelerometer.
Optimization of die area was done with Genetic Algorithm (GA), Artificial Bee Colony (ABC)
Algorithm, Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Algorithm with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO).If die
area is minimized the cost for manufacturing a MEMS Accelerometer will reduce and we will
manufacture more no of accelerometers in a single wafer.
Although my research focuses on a single topic (i.e.) minimizing die area, the other
areas that I am interested are design and fabricate a MEMS Accelerometer for high g
applications, develop a Model Predictive Control System for non-linear process. My professional
experiences as Assistant Professor have provided me with a broad view that is useful in
assisting students with projects and assignments.
