A temprana edad, Flint Lockwood ya soaba con grandes inventos, pues este

cuando la isla donde el vive (Isla Bocado) esta en la crisis porque las Sardinas
Baby Brent han cerrado y ellos tienen que comerlas da con da, es como Flint
decide construir una mquina que a base de agua pueda crear todo tipo de
comida.

Una tormenta masiva de alimentos amenaza al mundo y Flint pierde la

esperanza. Sin embargo, su padre lo alienta para arreglar el error y le entrega
su bata de laboratorio que perdi en el desastre reciente. Flint gana confianza
y coloca el cdigo de bloqueo en una unidad flash USB e inventa el coche
volador 2 para llegar a la mquina y apagarla. Flint, Sam, su camargrafo
Manny (Benjamin Bratt) y Brent se dispusieron a salvar el mundo, mientras que
el resto de los ciudadanos y turistas, liderados por el Oficial Elias Devereaux
(Earl) (Mr. T), el nico oficial de polica de la isla con una extraordinaria

un desagrado hacia Flint, principalmente por considerarlo una mala influencia
