Introduction to set the scene, recap prior learning,

Students split into groups as formed in lesson 1.
Students brainstorm in AnswerGarden (resource has
been previously used and understood) what Australia
Day should be in the future, why? (based on
knowledge acquired in previous lessons)
Teacher checkpoint AnswerGarden responses on
track?
Teacher demonstrates an example of next task
Magisto video. Instruction to use historical
knowledge, symbols and perspectives learnt/created
in lessons 1 - 3
Students create a video via Magisto max 1 min in
length must reflect on learning and propose action
to answer the question, must include a variety of
perspectives and symbols
Login to Magisto.com and copy your video link into
class seesaw blog
Conclusion/teacher reflection: If time permits class
to watch videos together, each group to provide
verbal comment on one other group's video - Would
you like this celebration of Australia Day? Why?
Opportunity for flipped classroom: watch other
videos at home, show to family and share comments
