Chi Omega Alumnae Cleveland East Achievement Award

The Cleveland East Alumnae Chapter offers a $1000 Achievement Award annually. If you are a
sophomore, junior or a non-graduating senior and have permanent residency in Cuyahoga, Geauga,
Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage or Summit Counties and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, you are
eligible for our scholarship. The basis for selection will be on scholastic achievement and
sorority/campus/community involvement. Financial need is not to be criteria for selection. In addition to
the application, each candidate must submit a letter of recommendation from one of her chapter
advisors, and it is to be sent under separate cover. Applications may be submitted by mail or email.
Applications and recommendations letters must be received by March 6, 2017.
The Achievement Award recipient will be contacted by phone in March and the award will be presented
at the Cleveland Chi-O-Hio on April 8, 2017. The scholarship money will be sent to the college after
the recipient has returned to school the following fall and has provided evidence of full-time enrollment.

1.) The Cleveland Alumnae Panhellenic Association offers several $2,000 scholarships. Complete eligibility
criteria and full applications are available on the CAPA website. www.clevelandpanhellenic.org. These
scholarships will be awarded at the CAPA luncheon on May 20, 2017. Applications are due February 19, 2016.
2.) Chi Omega National offers
The Alumnae Educational Scholarship
The Rowdy and Lucky Shain Scholarship
The Mary Love Collins Memorial Scholarship.
