Maria Monica Prado is the Lead Communication Training Consultant and Founder of
Communicare Training and Development. She has conducted communication trainings and talks for
thousands of individuals including engineers from many of the Philippines top corporations. She is often
invited to speak at job fairs and conventions and to guest on television and radio shows to share her
expertise in communication.
Monica began conducting trainings for engineers when she served as a full-time trainer in the
Philippines largest electric company. Later on, she founded Communicare Training and Development to
help organizations and individuals including engineers communicate successfully.
Because of her experience in training engineers, local and multi-national companies have sought
her to design and conduct communication trainings for their engineers. She has designed and conducted
customized communication trainings for thousands of electrical, mechanical, civil, industrial and
computer engineers among many others. She has also trained other technical professionals such as
architects and technicians. In 2012, she conducted a study on engineers and their communication
training needs to gain a better understanding of their needs and design effective trainings for them.
Monica obtained her Master in Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication, with Honors from
Miriam College. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Communication from the same school. She has taken
up Training and Development Management at the De La SalleCollege of St. Benilde School of
Professional and Continuing Education. She is a member of the Toastmasters Club and an accredited
trainer of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Monica is committed to training and developing engineers to become successful communicators.
Her customized and applicable trainings directly address her clients needs; while her interactive
trainings and motivational facilitation style allow engineers to have a fun-filled learning experience.
