The undersigned Senior Political Science student/s from the New Era University are
currently taking up Political Science 119 (Practicum in Political Science).
The practicum coursework requires our class individually to do hands-on research
training and internship on the structures, processes and dynamics of a selected
governmental or non-governmental institution. Thus the selection of the agency is of
primary consideration if we are to fulfill the main objective of the course to think
critically and work creatively through practicum training.
We respectfully request that we be admitted for practicum coursework under your highly
esteemed agency. If this request is granted, the terms and conditions of the practicum
shall be mutually finalized by your office and our class based upon the need and
discretion of the agency and the expectations and limitations of the student intern.

Dear Congressman Haresco:
The New Era University commits itself to academic excellence. In support of this
objective, the Social Science Department encourages its undergraduate Political Science
Senior students to undergo practicum training that would enable them to become not only
better social scientists in their chosen field, but also more conscientious members of
society.
The practicum is intended as the students classroom in the real world. He is given the
opportunity to work for a selected government or non-government organization or
institution, and apply the academic ideas and concepts learned in class to social and
political realities.
We therefore respectfully request that Coleen Joyce Q. Bautista, Eden Rose C. Mabalo,
and Reginald Arvin R. Seneca be formally accepted as interns in your office. The
students are required to submit a work plan for the internship, periodic progress reports,
and a comprehensive terminal report on their practicum experience. As such, we request
that intern/s be assigned to units and tasks that would allow them to practise their
knowledge and skills to the fullest. Our deep appreciation for the support and assistance
