The purpose of this article is to reflect on the importance of education in processes of

development from Islamic perspectives.

Allama Iqbal says
Knowledge gives power. This power should be under Deen. Otherwise it
is pure Satanic. A Muslim must Islamize his knowledge.
The Islamic Objectives
1. To produce individuals who believe firmly in the individual and collective
system of Islam. To protect, practice, and promote it.
2. To help in knowing Allah and the ways to please Him using latest means
at his disposal (as a Khalifah).
3. To develop morals by following the Prophet pbuh (Taleem + Tazkiah +
Himkmah)
4. Live a balanced life (spiritual vs material; self vs society; spending vs
saving; avoiding extremes)
5. To be expert in ones own field
6. To have a vision and a mission along with discipline within the limits
given by Allah.
To achieve that goal
Do our students ever bother to explore his Seerah in detail (his faith, his
worshipping style, his time management, his attitude, his confidence, his
relationship with others,)
Nobody tells them, nor prepares them, nor reminds them, nor gives them
a plan, nor follows up their progress on this path.
The Problem
We shoot directly into Aakhirah only
i.e., Pray Salah and you will be rewarded in Aakhirah
But Salah has to do with TODAYS work too.
The 5 prayers (+Quran study etc) do not consume even 2 to 3 hours.
What about the rest of the day? Is it confined to only behaving well with
others?
Imagine
A Muslim country of an-amta alayhim:
All Daees but beggars in every other area. No doctors, no engineers, no
technicians, no nurses, no businessmen, no economists, . All these are
either Chrisitians, Hindus, or Buddhists
And when some outside power is unhappy, you can expect a boycott or an
attack which may kill millions (as has happened to Iraq or Afghanistan).
Imagine another case:
A country/ society with a team of good Muslims and Daees
They have doctors, researchers, inventors, scientists, engineers,
technocrats, economists, businessmen, managers, and all other experts.
Each group having very clear about its vision and mission as a Muslim;
Excellent interaction between them.

Dont you think Allah wants such a society for true Khilafah!
To seek knowledge is a sacred duty; it is obligatory on every Muslim, male and female.
IQRA BIISMI RABBIKA ALLAZI KHALQ. Read! In the name of your Lord who created
(all the exists). Surah AlAlaq 96:1
The first word revealed to our Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) from Allah SWT
was Iqra which means to Read! To seek knowledge! Educate yourselves! Be Educated. As
our Prophet (PBUH) said TALAB UL ILMU FARIZATUN ALA KULLI MUSLIM.
Acquiring knowledge is obligatory on every muslim, the Knowledge of Truth and Wisdom.
Education and Development
Development is more than economic growth; it encompasses economic, social, cultural and
political dimensions. Development focuses on improving the well-being of individuals on the
basis of their participation and the fair distribution of benefits resulting from their active
participation. Education has a multidimensional impact on communities, and it is widely
recognized as one of the building blocks for sustainable development, and furthermore
education is instrumental in promoting equal opportunities and higher income levels amongst
the entire population. Economic growth does not necessarily imply the reduction in economic
inequality.
Education has been greatly emphasized in Islam. As I initiated my article by quoting a verse
of The Glorious Quran IQRA BISMI RABBIKAL LAZI KHALQ which was revealed to
Prophet Muhammad (BPUH) indicates the importance of education in Islam; the verse started
with the word IQRA, it is a command that means Read in Arabic, and that implies the
concept of learning, exploring and seeking enlightenment. This demonstrates that
reading (knowledge) is the way to approach the Creator of all that exists. Verse 96:1-5 IQRA
BIISMI RABBIKA ALLAZI KHALAQ KHALAQA ALINSANA MIN AALAQIN
IQRA WARABBUKA ALAKRAMU ALLAZI AALLAMA BIALQALAMI
AALLAMA ALINSANA MA LAM YAALAM; which states Read! In the name of your
Lord who has created (all that exists). He has created man from a clot (a piece of thick
coagulated blood). Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous. Who has taught (the writing)
by the pen. He has taught man that which he knew not.
The importance of education has been emphasized repeatedly in the Quran, which is the
ultimate source of guidance for Muslims. Verse 20:114 says, My Lord! Increase me in
knowledge. This verse indicates that whatever we know is limited as we need to keep asking
Allah to increase our knowledge. Therefore, a Muslim should constantly be seeking more
knowledge (ilm). The Quran treats knowledge as a means to reaching Iman (faith) for all
Muslims, males and females, to becoming true believers. This is demonstrated in the
following verses: (Verse 2:269) Allah grants wisdom to whom He pleases and to whom
wisdom is granted indeed he receives an overflowing benefit. (Verse 35:28) Those truly
fear God, among His servants, who have knowledge: for God is exalted in Might, OftForgiving. (Verse 39:9) Are those who know equal to those who do not know? Only they
will remember [who are] people of understanding.

The Hadith of Prophet (PBUH) also emphasizes the value of knowledge. As the following
Hadith narrated by Abu Hurrairah notes: (Sahih Muslim: Book 12, Hadith 4005) When a
man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity, or knowledge (by which
people benefit), or a pious son, who prays for him (the deceased).
Therefore, in the Quran and Hadith, the importance of education is explicit; in Islam seeking
education is obligatory, and that knowledge is considered to be the path towards greater
closeness to Allah.
Knowledge can be broadly divided into two types, one is the knowledge of religion, and
second is the knowledge required by community. It is the duty of every parent that we should
educate our children with the proper knowledge of both the types. Such as in religious
knowledge which comes at first is Tawheed (believing in one God), Offering Salah (the act of
prayer), Reading Holy book, fasting etc; then the second type of knowledge is the knowledge
required by the community. Such as knowledge which makes a person doctor, an engineer, a
lawyer, a scientist, an agriculturist etc. This is too required to the betterment of community
and to the betterment of society. But when we acquiring second type of knowledge we should
make sure that knowledge should take you closer to almighty God, but not to make far from.
The Glorious Quran itself teaches about various religious as well as formal teachings of the
world, such as:Surat An-Nahl (Verse 16:66) talks about the production of milk and
pulmonary blood circulation:
[And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from what is in their
bellies - between excretion and blood - pure milk, palatable to drinkers.]
Surat Al-Anbya (Verse 21:30) talks about the theory of Big Bang (the creation of Universe):
[Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined
entity, and we separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not
believe?]
Surat Az-Zumar (Verse 39:5) talks about alteration of Day and Night:
[He created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): He makes the Night overlap the
Day,
and
the
Day
overlap
the
Night.]
Surat Adh-Dhariyat (Verse 51:47) talks about expansion of universe:
[With power and skill did we construct the Firmament: For it is We Who create the vastness
of Space.]
Surat
An-Nahl
(Verse
16:79)
talks
about
Flight
of
Birds:
[Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up
except Allah . Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.]
And in the same manner there are several scientific facts mentioned in The Glorious Quran
about Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Geology, and Hydrology etc.
In Islam, the duty of seeking knowledge and learning is obligatory for every Muslim. Islam
affirms the right to education for all without gender discrimination. For example, in The
Glorious Quran Verse 39:9 the Quran addresses all people and indicates that people will
be judged by their knowledge and understanding.
Furthermore the principles of charity in Islam offer a way through which Muslims can
support education programs that will empower the disadvantaged section of society. Waqf,
apart from zakat and sadaqah, is one way that Muslims engage in ongoing charity. Waqf can

be in the form of paying for or declaring a building or land as a communal space, with
schools and training centers falling within this category.
Islam has a holistic view of human development, which views education and knowledge as
central. Islam encourages the acquisition of knowledge and its use for the benefit of
humanity. Furthermore, the principles of justice, equality and equity are important in Islam;
by extension this entails acquiring knowledge, wisdom and skills to carry out ones duties.
While knowledge is needed to fulfill religious and spiritual responsibilities, it is also highly
important for achieving social and economic development, for wellbeing of the community,
and for ensuring social harmony, freedom and human rights.
I am very much thankful to Millat Imdad Society who is performing its duty to encourage
the enlightenment of knowledge proactively by organizing various programs, vocational
quizzes, and putting their efforts to stand and establish a degree college for the free higher
education to society One step towards Preferment! (Ek Qadam Tarakki Ki Or!)
May Allah accept their strives, struggles, and efforts in a noble cause. Amen!

Top 20 Reasons why Education Is Important

If one were to think about the education system that is present all over the world today, one
would immediately come up with numerous reasons as to how and why is it deteriorating and
what all problems engulf it. That just says a lot about the importance of education that people
realise, despite spatio-temporal differences. The obviousness of this situation often leads to
an inquisitiveness amongst the people to decode the very importance of education. Here we
are trying to do the same. Have a look.
1. Awareness of Rights
Education tells you not only about your responsibilities as a citizen but also enlightens you
about the rights you can enjoy from the state. Whether they are consumer rights or rights
against exploitation from your employer, being aware about what is due to you can help in
raising your voice whenever you notice something wrong around you.
2. Morals and Ethics
As humans, we are certainly different from other species. Education helps us to realise that
basic difference by inculcating in us some moral values. We get to know the importance of
living an ethical life. It keeps under check our excesses and those sorts of behavioral patterns

which are detrimental for our as well as societys progress. In a way, it can be said that it
prevents us from becoming animals.
3. Learn to Socialise
Man is a social animal. This is one adage that has been taught and heard all over. It only
makes sense if you do justice to it. Education brings you into a system where you need to
interact with people and have conversations with each other. It helps you to gel up with
people and live amicably. You get nice friends, you make enemies, you basically grow. And
that is good.
4. Leadership Qualities
There is no such thing as a born leader. Leadership qualities are developed as one grows.
Be it the various activities at school or the numerous lessons about world leaders, they all
contribute towards an individuals personality by motivating them and encouraging them. The
knowledge one gains through education can be out to immense use when it comes to leading
revolutions or even something as basic as an office team.
5. Knowledge
The basic thing that you get from education is knowledge. You get to know about various
things ranging from mathematics to history, literature to political science. The worldly
knowledge you gain from education plays a great role in your future life and helps you to
understand the happenings in a much more cohesive manner.
6. Makes You Creative
Education is not only about mugging up facts, learning to read and write. That is literacy.
Education goes beyond that as it includes an overall development of an individual. It makes
you think out of the box. The creative wheels of your mind are set into motion which surely
gives one an edge over the others.
7. Improves Confidence
If you are aware of your world and have acquired knowledge about your surroundings, you
automatically gain confidence. A good education ensures that one not only hones ones skills
but also acquires a level of confidence to utilise those skills to their optimum capacity.
8. Dont Get Fooled
In a world where greed of men is increasing every day, you can be cheated easily as people
generally take advantage of those who are illiterate or arent well educated. Being educated
about places, people, culture or even numbers (mathematics) can help you keep such people
at bay.
9. Broadens Your Horizon
If there is one thing which holds the master key to spoiling ones life, its stagnancy. Be it
stagnancy of thoughts or actions, it makes a person less productive and even lazy. But,
education makes sure that a person gets to know about various other points of view and
broadens ones horizons. It helps one in getting out of ones comfort zone as that is where the
magic lies.
10. Be Up-to-date With Technology
The rate at which technology is advancing day by day is absolutely magnanimous. Just a few
years back, we did not know what Facebook and Twitter were. Today, we cant do without
them. Not just that, but the Mars Mission, the digitalisation of newspapers and magazines,
everything has been able to come into existence only due to high technology. If educated, you

can understand such new innovations completely and use them to your advantage and
enhance your personality. Even better, you can even come up with some innovation of yours,
too!
11. Your Way Of Giving Back To The World
No matter how much you crib and curse the world for its shortcomings and unjust attributes,
you cannot turn a blind eye towards what all it has given you. The society, the institutions, the
environment, all have come together in a harmonious relationship only to make you a better
person. Through education, you can contribute to the society by being a good human resource
to your country, and humanity, as a whole.
12. Crisis Management
An educated person is usually good at evaluating anything in its pros and cons. Such a quality
helps him in dealing with crisis as he can take decisions not just for himself but for others as
well. Studying management equips us to not panic in times of trouble and handle things
rationally.
13. Being Independent
Education helps you become independent, financially and emotionally. It helps you to take
decisions about your life without relying on an external advice or use it to your best in case
you are provided with one. Thats precisely why your parents let you stay by yourself only
when you finish your education.
14. Save The Environment
Climate change is one of the most burning issues that grapple everybody. The people who
usually tend to harm the climate are the ones who do not realise the repercussions of their
actions. There is a certain sense of callousness in their behaviour which stems from ignorance
about the issue. Education, herein, becomes a tool of awareness accompanied with
knowledge regarding the need to save the planet.
15. Prevents Us From Becoming Criminals
Education tells us the difference between good and bad. It makes us aware of our as well as
others rights. It makes one sensitive about issues. All these combine together and prevent a
person from consciously indulging in illegal and criminal activities. It keeps ones conscience
in check and helps a person understand the concept of a civilised society very well.
16. Makes you a Good Citizen
Talking about rights, civilised society and ethics, one cannot not talk about educations role in
making good citizens out of people. An educated citizen not only abides by the law of the
land but also contributes towards the growth of the country, socially, politically, and/or
economically.
17. Learn New Languages
There are many people who tend to be bilingual. However, with education, you get the
opportunity to even transgress the bilinguality and move towards more and more language
systems. More the number of languages you know, more would be your knowledge about the
world. You do not jut learn a language alone; you learn about the place to which that
language belongs. It is not sid just like that language is a carrier of cultures.
18. Makes You A Great Catch
It is oft said that an educated person is one in whose company you do not get bored very
easily. Ever wondered about the logic behind it? It is simple as vanilla! An educated person

knows a lot. They know about Picasso, Shakespeare, Einstein, Darwin and Babbage alike.
Now, if you know all of these, arent you going to come out as a great catch in the dating
world? Who doesnt like an intelligent and well aware person, after all? Looks like we dont
have just super serious benefits of education.
19. Be A Rational Being
Irrationality can prove to be the dead end of not just your career but also your relationships
and major life decisions. Irrationality is like a parasite which feeds off your intellect,
goodness and confidence. In order to battle that, education comes into picture like that old
grandparent figure who always tell you how to weigh the situation based on logic and reason.
It guides one to choose a path based on well-thought out decisions, thereby, gradually
eradicating the irrational impulses from a person.
20. Because It Is Important
The very basic concept of education is to make it so obvious and necessary that there should
not arise any need for discussing its importance through articles such as this one. Education is
needed to make people aware of the importance of education. It sure sounds too cryptic and
cyclical. But, that is precisely because that is the scenario. Education is important because it
is. Plain and simple.
Kavya Vidyarthi (Editor Opinion) Education is almost the foundation on which human
future depends. Imagine a scenario wherein weve to reverse back to savage early man days,
and that with all the innovation and technology weve claimed today. Much a bestial situation
at hand. Wed be uncivilized and unaccommodating for our fellow humans. Is that a World
wed rather be in? Thats the World it would be without laying enough emphasis on how
education moulds us to conceal our flaws and enhance our strengths. So Is Education
Important?
The first time we are introduced to formal education is in school. The school years are the
grounding years of one's education. Schools are institutions that lay the foundation of a
child's development. They play a key role in developing children into responsible citizens and
good human beings. It's a school where young talent is recognized and nurtured. On leaving
school, we are all set to soar high in life, and enter the real world in pursuit of our dreams.
Education provides us with knowledge about the world. It paves the way for a good career. It
helps build character. It leads to enlightenment. It lays the foundation of a stronger nation.
Education makes a man complete. Kautilya, an Indian philosopher, royal adviser, and
professor of economics and political science very rightly underlined the importance of
education, some 2000 years ago. He has highlighted the fact that education enriches people's
understanding of themselves. He has said that education is an investment in human capital,
and it can have a great impact on a nation's growth and development.
So,
Why
is
Education
Important?
It
Gives
Knowledge
A direct effect of education is knowledge gain. Education gives us knowledge of the world
around. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us form opinions and
develop a point of view. The information we are constantly bombarded with, cannot be
converted into knowledge without the catalyst called education. Education makes us capable
of interpreting things rightly and applying the gathered information in real-life scenarios.

Education is not limited to lessons from textbooks. Real education is obtained from the
lessons
taught
by
life.
It
Leads
to
Career
Progression
Education is important because it equips us with the expertise that is needed in helping us
realize our career goals. Expertise is an in-depth knowledge about a specific field and it's
ought to open doors to brilliant career opportunities. Education fetches better prospects of
career growth. Good education is an eligibility criterion for employment in any sector of the
industry. Be it any field, education always proves to be rewarding. We are weighed in the
market on the basis of our educational skills and on how well we can apply them.
It
Builds
Character
The words 'cultivate' and 'civilize' are synonymous with 'educate'. That says it all. Education
is important as it teaches us the right behavior and good manners, thus making us civilized. It
is the basis of culture and civilization. It is instrumental in the development of our values and
virtues. Education cultivates us into mature individuals; individuals capable of planning for
the future, and taking the right decisions in life. It gives us an insight into living, and teaches
us to learn from experience. It makes us self-confident, and develops our abilities to think,
analyze, and judge. It fosters principles of equality and socialism. It forms a support system
for one to excel in life. It is the backbone of society. It won't be wrong to say that good
education
makes
us
more
human.
It
Leads
to
Enlightenment
Education paves the path to disillusionment. It wipes out the wrong beliefs from our minds. It
helps create a clear picture of things around, and erases all the confusion. It kindles the flame
of curiosity and helps awaken the abilities to question, and to reason. The more we learn, the
more questions we have, and without questions, there are no answers. Education teaches us to
find answers. It makes us more self-aware. It leads us to enlightenment.
It
Helps
a
Nation
Progress
Though not enlisted as one of the three basic human needs, education is equally important.
For the progress of a nation, for the enrichment of society in general, education is important.
A country's literate population is its asset. In today's competitive world, it won't be wise to
neglect the importance of education for the development of society as a whole. Most
countries have realized this. It has led to the development of many government-aided
educational programs and government grants to schools and colleges. The motive behind this
is fostering education in society. The future of a nation is safe in the hands of the educated.
Education is important for the social development and economic growth of a nation.
Schools and other educational institutes define the basic framework of education. Schooling
gives us the fundamentals. We specialize in fields of our interest during degree courses. The
number of institutes offering vocational courses and those offering online education is
increasing by the day. Vocational courses help earn specialized education. Online degree
programs help the working class and adults pursue education even while continuing work.

Distance education has proven to be of great help for many. But education is not limited to
that obtained from educational institutes. Learning is a lifelong process. Rather, self-learning
begins at a point where institutional education ends. The process of self-learning continues
throughout
one's
life.
The importance of education is well-supported by a speech made by US President Barack
Obama. In his national address to students across the nation, he said: "... Every single one of
you has something that you're good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And
you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That's the opportunity an
education
can
provide."
The
process
of
discovering
what's
within
never
ends.

How to Know the Importance of Education
Three Parts:
Getting an education is important, as most career paths require at least some education and
training. Though the decision to continue your education is a personal choice, it's worth
considering if knowledge and experience are important to you. If you have any career goals,
you will most likely need an education to achieve those goals. Learning the importance of an
education can help motivate you to learn more and achieve great things.

Part1
Preparing for Your Future
1.

1
Decide on your career goals. If you've thought about your future at all, you probably have
some idea of what you want to do as a career. No matter what your goal is, it will probably
require some degree of education.[1]
o
Search online for information about your desired career, or talk to
professionals working in that field. There is a good chance that anyone you talk to will tell
you that you'll need an education in order to enter that field.
o
In the United States, only 27 percent of jobs available nationwide require less
than a high school degree. By contrast, students who have graduated from high school are
deemed qualified for 39 percent of jobs available nationwide.[2]

Many people drop out of school thinking that they would rather work than be
in school, but statistics show that the majority of high school dropouts are unemployed and
have little or no source of income.[3]

2
Get a better job. Even if the career you've chosen doesn't require an advanced education to
break into the field, you will most likely need an education if you want to get promoted or
earn a higher-paying job.[4]
o
People who have completed an advanced education typically make more
money than people who have not gone to school. [5] For example, in the United States, median
weekly earnings in 2014 for people with only a high school diploma were $751 (men) and
$558 (women).[6] In contrast, the median weekly earnings for people with least a bachelor's
degree were $1385 (men) and $1049 (women) in 2014. For people with an advanced degree,
the median weekly wage was even higher: $1630 (men) and $1185 (women).[7]

Having a high school diploma dramatically increase the chances of earning a

job over high school dropouts. That number continues to rise as students pursue higher
education through college and graduate school.[8]

3
Find better opportunities. Getting an education opens a lot of professional doors for you. It
can help you learn new skills, make professional connections, and generally have greater
success.[9]
o
People who have completed an advanced education often have more and better
opportunities available to them because of their education.[10]
o
Even if you have not completed a high school diploma, completing vocational
training (education emphasizing a particular trade, such as electrician) will likely increase
your income level and ability to find a job. [11] If you have a high school
education and vocational training, you are a much more attractive candidate for jobs.

Part2
Overcoming Inequality
1.

1
Overcome income inequality. Studies have shown that having an education - even a primary
education - can help low-income workers earn more money and find a better economic
situation.[12]
o
Employers look for educational achievements. Even having a high school
degree will reduce the risk of unemployment and increase the average lifetime earnings of
most working adults.[13]
o
In the United States, 54 percent of high school dropouts between the ages of
16 and 24 are unemployed. For high school graduates, that number decreases to 32 percent of
people in the same age bracket, and it decreases even further to 13 percent of college
graduates.[14]

2
Live a better life. Beyond the professional opportunities that an education affords people,
having an education may also be correlated with living a better life in general. Some studies
suggest that people who stay in school are less likely to end up having legal troubles later in
life.[15]
o
College graduates with a bachelor's degree earn an average of $1.64 million
dollars more than high school dropouts over the course of a lifetime. High school graduates
earn an average of $429,280 more than high school dropouts over the course of a lifetime.[16]
o
Having an education (and subsequently getting a better job) may make people
less likely to commit crimes for fear of losing what they've worked for.[17]
o
The average high school dropout in America has a one in 10 chance of being
arrested, whereas the average high school graduate only has a one in 35 chance of being
arrested.[18]

Some studies suggest having an education can also make people more patient,
and therefore less likely to be overcome by anger or violent tendencies.[19]

3
Help your family. Having an education is typically associated with an increased ability to
provide for your family. That means not only being able to help financially support your
family, but also providing younger relatives with a positive role model, and inspiring them to
pursue an education.[20]

Part3
Recognizing the Social Benefits of an Education
1.

1
Live a longer life. Some studies suggest that having a higher education can help you live a
longer life.[21] This may be because of better working conditions that come with an education,
or it could be because earning an education helped remove people from adverse domestic
situations. Whatever the cause, many studies show that even earning a high school education
significantly decreases the likelihood of dying young.[22]
o
Young men who graduate high school statistically live an average of seven
years longer than male high school dropouts. Young women who graduate high school live an
average of six years longer than female high school dropouts.[23]
o
Young men who graduate college statistically live an average of 13 years
longer than male high school dropouts, and an average of six years longer than male high

school graduates who do not go to college. Young women who graduate college live an
average of 12 years longer than female high school dropouts, and an average of six years
longer than female high school graduates who do not go to college.[24]

2
Be happier in life. In addition to living a longer life, people who pursue an education tend to
be happier in life.[25] That's because having an education has been shown to make people
better problem solvers who are better equipped to manage day-to-day problems.[26]
o
Some studies suggest that simply earning an education, regardless of
subsequent income or job contentment, helps people have better mental health later in life.[27]

3
Find more fulfillment in life. Some studies suggest that people who have completed an
education are more likely to pursue things that offer personal fulfillment.[28]
o
Flow, a term used to describe meaningful and satisfying absorption in a task, is
often associated with educational advancement.[29] In other words, having an education may
help you find hobbies or passions that give you a sense of fulfillment.
o
Many schools encourage flow, whether intentionally or not, by offering a
stimulating learning environment and meaningful extracurricular activities to students who
might not otherwise have those opportunities.[30]

First of all I would like to say good morning to the respected teachers, parents
and my dear friends. I would like to speech on the importance of education
which is must to know by all of us. Education plays a great role in the life of

everyone all through the life. Getting proper education is very necessary to get
success and happy life just like food is necessary for healthy body. It is very
important to live luxurious and better life. It develops personality of the
people, provides physical and mental standard and transforms peoples living
status. It promotes the feeling of physical, mental and social well being by
providing better life. Good education is constructive in nature which
constructs our future forever. It helps a person to improve his/her status of
mind, body and spirit. It provides us lots of confidence by giving us bulk of
knowledge in many field. It is a single and vital way to the success as well as
personal growth.

The more knowledge we get, we grow and develop more in the life. Being
well educated never only means to earn certificates and good salary from the
recognized and reputed organisation companies or institutions however it also
means to be a good and social person in the life. It helps us to determine
whether something is good or bad for us and other persons related to us. The
first purpose of getting good education is being good citizen and then being
successful in personal and professional life. We are incomplete without a good
education because education makes us right thinker and correct decision
maker. In such a competitive world, education has become a necessity for
human beings after food, clothe and shelter. It is able to provide solutions to
all problems; it promotes good habits and awareness about corruption,
terrorism, and other social issues among us.

Education is the most important tool offers inner and outer strength to a
person. Education is the fundamental rights of everyone and capable of
bringing any desired change and upliftment in the human mind and society.

Thank You

Importance of Education Speech 2

Good morning to the Excellencies, my respected teachers and my dear friends.

I would like to speech over importance of education at this great occasion in
front of you. Education is very important to all of us. Our parents make us
learn many things at home and then send us to school after age of three years.
Our home is first education institute where we learn how to behave to others
and other skills however school education is very necessary to be successful in
practical life. Through school education we learn and develop personality,
mental skills, moral and physical powers. Without proper education, one gets
lack of all educational benefits in his/her life. Education is the only key to
success in personal and professional life. Education provides us various types
of knowledge and skills. It is a continuous, slow and secure process of

learning which helps us in obtaining knowledge. It is a continuous process

which starts when we take birth and ends when our life ends.

We should make our habits of learning always all through the life from our
teachers, parents, family members, friends and other related people in our life.
We learn to become a good person, learn to live in home, society, community
and friend circle. Attending school and receiving education is extremely vital
for every person and necessary for those who want to achieve success. We all
take birth in same manner at the same planet however do not get same
opportunity to receive such type of formal education which may lead everyone
of us towards success because of the lack of money and knowledge of parents.
One who gets proper education becomes admired by the members of the
family, community and country. Proper education by all brings equality among
human beings and removes the feeling of difference.

Education not only makes us able to learn about history, science, math,
geography, and other subjects however it makes us smart enough to learn how
to live life and handle bad situations.

Thank You

Importance of Education Speech 3

Good morning to the Excellencies, my respected teachers and my dear friends.

As we have gathered here to celebrate this special occasion, I would like to
speech over the importance of education. Good and proper education plays a
great role in shaping our future and professional career. It helps us to develop
personality and earn recognition and respect in the family and society. We can
say that education is socially and personally an essential part of the human
life. We cannot ignore the importance of education in our life at any cost. As
we see daily in the society lots of social issues just because of the lack of
proper education. Social issues like inequality, gender discrimination, religious
differences and so many problems are there because of the lack of education in
our life. Proper education helps us to maintain the personal and social
standards in daily life.

In such a modern, technological and competitive world, there is still the issue
of education among poor and uneducated people of the society which needs to
be solved as soon as possible. Education is the key to solve all the social,
personal and professional problems of the people. Proper and higher education
makes us more civilized to live in the society. One cannot make his/her good
image in the society and live prosperous and happy life without getting
appropriate education. It makes us able to maintain the healthy surroundings.
Now-a-days, unlike ancient time, getting proper education has become easy

and simple because of the online system and correspondence facility in all the
big universities. It has made education system easy because of which poor
people can also get education in their own field of choice. There are many
huge efforts and plan strategies by the government to maintain the quality of
education all over the India.

Education helps us to be healthy, save many lives, boosts economic growth,

earn money, raise quality crop, promote peace in the society, eradicate poverty,
remove gender discrimination and inequality, promote women and children
rights, bring good governance, remove corruption, make aware about
fundamental rights and so many. Good education does not mean to study hard
and get good results however it is to conquer new things for the betterment of
whole mankind.

Thank You

Importance of Education Speech 4

Good morning to the Excellencies, respected teachers and my dear friends. I

would like to speech over the importance of education at this special occasion.
The real meaning of education is much more than the success in personal and
professional life. People in the modern society have narrowed the meaning of
education. It does not aim that educated people gets professionally recognized
instead it aims much more than this. It is not only to run in the race to go
ahead and read only the school or college syllabus. The education really means
to improve the physical, social and mental wellbeing, develop personality and
improve skill level. The aim of education is very vast and makes a person,
good person.

In providing good level of education, teachers play very important role.

Whatever we learn through our parents and teachers goes with us throughout
the life which we again pass on to our next generation. The aim and benefits of
proper education is not restricted to only personal gains instead it benefits
other people of the family, society and country. People in the society have
different meaning, needs and perceptions about the education however the real
meaning and importance of it never changes. A good education helps us all to
be independent in the society as well as get over of the problem of poverty.
Many people do education passionately and not as a workload. They love to
read and develop their mind and skill. Some historical people like Swami
Vivekananda spent their whole life in getting education and sharing
knowledge among poor people of the society.

We too should get proper education by understanding its real value and get
benefitted completely. Our aim of getting education should be to help other

needy people of the society to get them over the weaknesses and superstitions.
Education has unbelievable power which keeps us away from evil powers,
helps us in making self dependent and provides us new possibilities and
opportunities to become a problem solver and excellent decision maker. It
keeps our mind calm and peaceful by maintaining the balance among body,
mind and soul. Through the key of education one can open his/her difficult
lock of the success. Many people do hard work for whole day just to earn
some money for getting two times of food in the absence of good education.
So, education is must for everyone of us to have a better and happy lifestyle

The
first purpose of getting good education is being good citizen and then being

education because education makes us right thinker and correct decision

No such system exists (in secular and most Muslim countries)

Islamic Studies is just one subject in our schools
It is the Most neglected, abused, and last in priority
No supervision or follow up for it
Most importantly Quran is missing! (except for rote memorization of
few Surahs and their translation passages)
