PLASMA PRODUCTIONS

1. EXT.DESERTED.CITY
Multiple shots showing the deserted city
after the outbreak of the virus. The camera
pans through these deserted cities showing
what has happened. News reporter voiceover
and emergency broadcast system with
disconnection and cutting out. Shots of
people panicking about the crisis. News
reporter goes live to news reporter who is
on location. Reporter filming live in the
deserted city when the cameraman gets
knocked over during a crowd of zombies and
the shot turns into a Dutch tilt and all
you can see is the zombie legs getting
closer to the camera and then it cuts out.
NEWS REPORTER #1
This is the emergency broadcast system.
This is not a test. A senator from disease
control has reported an outbreak on a new
virus
NEWS REPORTER #2
Here from London, I am Kate Aide reporting
for BBC World News. Here we have reports of
the former deceased coming back alive.
Families been evacuating and this is where
it all started.
MAN #1
ITS THE END OF THE WORLD. ITS THE END OF

2. INT. OUTSIDE. CONFERENCE ROOM

Shots of Dr Amory Sheppard walking to the
conference room, tracking shots and
panning.
3. INT. GOVERNMENT. CONFERENCE. ROOM.
Government officials are meeting about
the virus they are hoping to produce to
reduce the population but telling the
scientists (Dr Mason Cooper) otherwise. A
presentation is shown to them in hopes
that they will agree and make the virus.
An arc and pan shot used around the
conference table.
GABRIEL GARCIA
We have gathered here you today to discuss
our problem of overpopulation. The birth
rate is rising every second. With the help
of Dr Amory Sheppard we have figured out a
way to reduce the population. Over to you
Amory.
DR. AMORY SHEPPARD
Tardigrades. First discovered by a German
zoologist in 1773. They are eight-legged,
segmented micro-animals and are able to
survive anything, and we believe that they
can help reduce the population once we have
made them into a virus and are injected
into people. They can survive 30 years in a
freezer, rapid dehydration, boiling and
freezing temperatures, massive doses of
radiation, baths in organic solvents and a
trip to open space. Tardigrades have the
ability to lose part of their DNA that can

trigger cells to consume or denature in

response to environmental stress.
(Voices fade out as Dr Mason Coopers
voiceover begins).
DR MASON COOPER
That was the plan all along, to reduce the
population. They didnt want to make people
immune to cancer. But they made us believe
that they did. All along they were only
thinking about themselves.
4. INT. SCIENCE. LAB.
Dr Mason Cooper walking into the lab,
multiple shots of flashbacks of the
scientists in the lab creating what they
think is a vaccine for making people
immune to cancer but its a virus for
reducing the population by using a
tardigrade. Dr Mason Cooper vlogs his
process with the help of his assistant Dr
Amelia Hart and Dr Amory Sheppard.
DR MASON COOPER
Testing. Testing. This is Dr Mason
Cooper, accompanying me is Dr Hart and Dr
Sheppard. Were so close, havent slept
almost 48 hours.
5. INT. MEDICAL. ROOM
Medical room were patient who has been
injected by the virus Shown as a series of
fast paced close ups. Then the camera shows
the infected eye of the patient after it
has been turned into a zombie. Close up of
the eye opening and the pupil dilated after
being exposed to the light.

6. INT. CONFERENCE. ROOM.

A map of the world with pin pointed areas
of where the zombie infections are, camera
slowly moves out showing the full scale of
the problem from the tardigrade virus.
8. INT. COMPUTER. ROOM.
A population count of the world population
going downwards showing the reduction of
the population after the virus, which was
made by the government, has hit the world.
9. EXT. SURVIVORS. SHOT
A tracking shot of Dr Mason Cooper with two
other survivor of the apocalypse as they
are walking through the city. Fade to black
and sounds of gunshots and zombie moaning
can be heard.
