LOVE IN THE TIME OF FACEBOOK

Narrator: Good evening, Miss Galindo and classmates in this opportunity, we will act
about social networks. How many of you here have an account on Facebook,
WhatsApp or some other social network? All, really. Social networks are
available to all and has many positive aspects, when we know how to use them,
for example as communicating with family in other countries, but the abuse of it
also has negative consequences.
SCENE 1
Narrator: This time we are going to stage a small theater to demonstrate the positive
and negative aspects about the use of social networks. Claudia and Jenny are
best friends, they are now studying at university the career of Administration,
let's see what happens to them.

Escenario simultneo, en un lado estarn los chicos, en otro las chicas.

Narrador: Buenas noches Miss Galindo and compaeros de clases en esta oportunidad,
nosotros escenificaremos a cerca de las redes sociales. Cuntos de ustedes aqu tienen una
cuenta en Facebook, WhatsApp o alguna otra red social? Todos, verdad. Las redes sociales
estn al alcance de todos y tiene muchos aspectos positivos, si sabemos usarlas como por
ejemplo comunicarnos con familiares que se encuentran en otros pases, pero el abuzar de ella
tambin trae consecuencias negativas.

ESCENA 1

Narrador: en esta ocasin vamos a escenificar un pequeo teatro para demostrar los aspectos
positivos y negativos sobre el uso de las redes social. Claudia y Jenny son muy buenas amigas
se conocen desde la primaria y actualmente estn en la universidad estudiando la carrera de
Administracin, veamos que sucede con ellas.

Claudia: Est guapsimo, en serio, mira ahora te enseo su foto.

Jenny: y desde cundo lo conoces? por qu no me habas contado nada?

Claudia: bueno, conocerlo, conocerlo, todava no lo conozco. Solo he chateado con l desde
la semana pasada, pero todava no lo veo en persona.
Jenny: Y no te da miedo?

ESCENA 2
Jorge: (entrando a su espacio junto con su amigo) hay muchas chicas hermosas, pero luego
las buscas en la universidad y es como si no existieran. No s cmo lo hacen.
Nelson: pues igual que t ponen otra foto, en donde aparece otra persona. A ver te tomaste
fotos con tus lentes de fondo de botella y tus dientes chuecos? (poner aqu cualquier
caracterstica del chavo que represente este papel)
Jorge: claro que no, ya las espanto en la vida real, para qu espantarlas tambin en la vida
virtual?
Nelson: as como piensas t, piensan ellas, por eso no encuentras a esas chicas hermosas en
la

universidad.

Claudia: con lentes y que no bae, si esos chicos no me dan miedo, menos me va a dar miedo
este. Pero no slo me importa el fsico, que conste, lo que ms me gusta es su interior, su
personalidad me encanta la idea de conocerlo
Jenny: a s? por qu te gusta, qu tiene de especial?

Claudia: es lindsimo, escribe muy bonito, dice puras cosas as como bien poticas,
inspiradas, mira, me escribi una frase: yo voy a ti como va sorbido al mar ese ro
Jenny: y eso qu significa?

Claudia: no s, pero se escucha lindo.

Jenny: pero estas segura, no has visto las noticias muchas chicas son engaadas por malas
personas que mienten en Facebook.
Claudia: eso solo les pasa a las chicas tontas, no a m

ESCENA 4
Pablo: bueno, y la piensas conocer o va a quedar en calentura virtual?
Jorge: no como crees, yo no estoy para eso, para calenturas las tuyas. Mira, est en el chat.
Pablo: invtala a salir, y pregntale que si tiene una amiga que la acompae.
Jorge: est bien, le dir que una amiga la acompae
ESCENA 5

Claudia: me invit a salir!

Jenny: hoy?

Claudia: s qu le digo?
Jenny: que s vas, pero que ests con una amiga y que ella tambin va.

Claudia: cmo crees?

Jenny: s, ponle eso, que vea que tienes vida social, adems as te ayudo si hay algo raro,ya
ves que luego no quiero que salgas en los peridicos en casos de chicas asesinadas por sus
amigos del face.

Claudia: Va a llevar a un amigo, hay que arreglarnos, apenas nos da tiempo de estar listas.
(ellas se van a casa de Claudia para poder arreglarse e ir a la cita)

ESCENA 6
Jorge: dice que s, pero que va con una amiga.
Pablo: estoy de suerte!

Jorge: te comportas, no quiero que me dejes en vergenza frente a ella. Puede ser mi futura
novia.
Pablo: (risa irnica) por favor no me hagas rer si te y no se va corriendo es una milagro amigo
mo

ESCENA 7
Narrador: Luego de las coordinaciones para conocerse y con el apuro de las chicas, veamos
que suceder en este encuentro en parejas, Ustedes que opinan, que pasar cuando
realmente se vean en persona y ya no con una pantalla de por medio, se gustaran, se dejaran
de hablar o huirn? Bueno descrubramos como acabara este encuentro.
(Salen los chicos, acomoda las sillas y convierte el espacio en una cafetera) (Entran las chicas
primero)

Claudia: Ya se fue! Te dije que te arreglaras rpido, llegamos media hora tarde.
Jenny: te dije que le mandaras un mensaje!

Claudia: es que no tengo saldo ni internet.

Jenny: a ver, yo se lo mando, psame su nmero celular
Claudia: esprate, ya me mando uno l, a ver dice que viene retrasado, que llega en unos
minutos.
Jenny: qu horror! Es un impuntual, amiga, no te conviene.
Mesera: Buenas tardes, les dejo la carta, gustan algo de tomar?

Claudia: No, gracias, estamos esperando a alguien.

Mesera: Estn seguras? Tal vez deseen un helado para este calor insoportable o talvez una
bebida diettica para lucir bien en este verano?
Claudia: No, gracias.
Mesera: Ok.
Jenny: cmo me veo?
Claudia: bien, pero t no eres la de la cita.

Jenny: mira, creo que son ellos.

Claudia: no enserio?, estn muy feos, Jos es mas alto que Jorge
Debemos emplear el plan H de huir
Jenny: ya s, pero el de camisa azul tiene personalidad.
Claudia: personalidad?
Jorge: Hola, Claudia?
Claudia: s, Jorge?

Narrador: Bueno, ya vimos como acaba una relacin por redes sociales en el primer da de la
realidad, debemos sacar provecho de la tecnologa de otra forma, no alejemos a las personas
que estn cerca ponindonos a mensajear delante de ellos sin prestarles atencin, es mejor
dar un abrazo real que un mensaje. Esperamos que haya sido de su agrado, gracias.
