Comply with International Electrical Testing Association 2007 Standard for Maintenance
Testing Specifications on Electrical Distribution Equipment and Systems (NETA MTS-
2007) amended for Celanese and specific sites as follows.

Comply with all requirements of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8. All or part or the requirements in
Sections 9 and 10 can be applied on a voluntary basis.

This standard defines Celanese minimum requirements for electrical equipment maintenance
testing. In jurisdictions where an international, national, or local governing authority have
established more stringent requirements, these requirements shall take precedence over those
defined in this standard. If a discrepancy or difference is identified between this standard and an
international, national, or local standard, code, or ordinance the more stringent requirement and/or
action shall prevail.

Section 3.3.1 Supercede with the following: Testing Certification can be in accordance with
ANSI/NETA ETT-2000, any equivalent electrical testing certification program, or specific
national, regional, or local requirements.

Section 5.1.1 Supercede with the following: Safety practices shall include, but not be limited
too, all specific national, regional, and local requirements.

Section 5.3.3 Supercede with the following: Calibration accuracy shall be traceable and
confirmable.

Section 7.3.3.2.4.1 The Celanese approved methods for Overpotential Withstand testing of
Medium Voltage Cable is as follows:

Dielectric Insulated Cable Very Low Frequency Overpotential (0.1Hz minimum to 1Hz
maximum)
Paper Insulated Lead Covered Cable Direct Current Overpotential

Section 7.3.3.3.2.4.2 - Supercede with the following: Based on the test methodology chosen, refer
to manufacturers recommendations, current version of IEEE Std 400 IEEE Guide for Field
Testing of the Insulation of Shielded Power Cable Systems, or IEC 60060 High Voltage Test
Techniques for acceptable test result values.

Appendix B Supercede Table Inspections and Tests Frequency in Months with the following
table:
