 SIMATIC S7 PLC SYSTEM HANDLING TRAINING COURSE
ST-S7SYH: 30 Training Hours

The course is aimed at personnel in all areas who are interested in solving a variety of PLC tasks. The
course imparts basic knowledge of the electrical and mechanical structure of programmable controllers,
software handling and hardware configuration. The course uses a 'hands-on' practical approach to reinforce
the theoretical aspects of the training. Practical tasks are undertaken using a SIEMENS SIMATIC S7-300
PLC, simulation rig and conveyor belt model.

Prerequisites to attending the course:

PC literacy, keyboard skills and a good working knowledge of Windows 95/98/NT.
Knowledge of basic electrical control and digital functions.
Knowledge of basic principles of PLC's.
Aims and Objectives of course:
Get familiar with PLC through SIEMENS SIMATIC S7 family of PLCs.
Be able to design, write programs and diagnose errors using S7 software package on
S7-300 or S7-400 PLCs.
