1. Purpose and Scope
It is PT Borneo Mitra Sinergi ( BMS ) policy that all subcontractor and his employee shall follow
company rules, contract requirement ,the job orientation and Induction program.

This program has something as a purpose to introduce for all subcontractor and his employee
about their jobs and responsibilities. All subcontractor and his employee would be giving the
pocket book. Training would be informing. Successful or not of all subcontractor and his
employee depend their training responses.

2. Subject Matter
a. To ensure that all subcontractor and his employee will get information concerning the
activity, organization, general process system and working environment of his new working
place and therefore he/she will start the work in the right way.
b. The materials of pocket book are about company policies statement, emergency response,
safety rules, and personal protective equipment.
c. Scope of training is occupation functions interrelated in company and guiding tour to any
facilities. That is will be giving before subcontractor and his employee beginning their jobs.
d. Misemployed will be done if employee from subcontractor did not applied safety rules into
their jobs.
Environment and hygiene topics are giving also for both of employees and subcontractor.

3. General Instruction
The Subcontractor and his employee should attend the program within the first week of
arrival on site.
Site manager of concerned service or his delegated supervisor should conduct the job
orientation/induction for the subcontractor and his employee.
The content of the job orientation/induction program will be as per attached syllabus and
after completing the program, site manager/supervisor should fill in the orientation checklist
form and the subcontractor and his employee should fill in the questionnaire form.

5. Details
a. Explanation about their jobs description that have HSE interrelated must be signed.
b. Company policy statement that was included in the pocket book materials is about Health
Safety and Environment that company was committed.
c. Emergency response is procedure that subcontractor should be done if any injury or illness
accident was occurred.
d. Safety rules is generally behavior rules how they must be done in yard that have traffic
should be faithful, how to preparation their jobs that could be safely and simple jobs if they
would be done.
e. Personal Protective Equipment is wear that should be wearing in jobs for personal safer.
f. Hygiene is about daily personnel consumptions, and bodies treatment.
g. Environment is about trash, sanitations for employee and environmental for subcontractor.
h. Trainers are whose dedicated person to train personnel about health safety and
environment of company, also person(s) who dedicated in their jobs. The trainer should be
internal or external person of BMS.

6. Implementation
Explaining about description both of safety responsibility and their job description.
Induction course and documentation of subcontractor new employee.

7. Statement
In case supply and install of cathodic protection system, contractor will subcontracting this
work to company who have NACE Inspector. The scope of work should be include but not limited in
Engineering Procurement and Installation
