Introduction to the topic

We are the students of MBA first year of BSACET, Mathura we are doing research on
the topic TECHNICAL COMPARISON OF LAPTOPS OF CORE PROCESSOR
i3. In this we compare laptops of four brands that are HP, LENOVO, DELL and
ASUS on the basis of many features that laptop have.
Our objective towards conducting this research is to find out
the most affordable laptop with more features.

Laptop: A laptop, often called a notebook is a portable personal computer with a

clamshell from factor, suitable for mobile use. Although originally there was a
distinction between laptops and notebooks, the former being bigger and heavier than
the latter, as of 2014, there is no longer any difference.
A laptop combines the components, inputs, outputs, and
capabilities of a desktop computer, including the display screen, speakers, a keyboard
and pointing devices into a single unit.
The laptops can be powered either from a rechargeable battery or by mains electricity
from an adopter.

Microprocessor: A central processing unit contained on a single integrated

circuit.

Brand: A brand is a name to a product and or service such that it takes on an

identity by itself.

Feature: Feature is a distinctive attribute or aspect of something.

In this we are taking following brands of laptops:

HP: The Hewlett-Packard company (commonly referred to as HP) was an American

multinational information technology company headquartered in Palo Alto,
California. It is developed and provided a wide variety of hardware components as
well as software and related services to consumers, small and medium-sized
businesses and large enterprises, including customers in the government, health and
education sectors.
The company was founded in a one-car garage in Palo Alto
By William Bill Redington Hewlett and David Dave Packard in January1, 1939;
77 years ago.
The model which we takes from HP is HP15-ac119TU notebook.

LENOVO: Lenovo group limited is a Chinese multinational technology company

with headquartered in Beijing, China. It designs, develops, manufactures and sells
 personal computers, tablet computers, smart phones, workstations and IT management
software.
It is founded by Liu Chuanzhi in 1984; 32 years ago.
The slogan of lenovo is Innovation Never Stands Still. The model which we takes
from lenovo is Lenovo G50-80 notebook.

DELL: Dell Inc. is an American privately owned multinational computer

technology company based in Round Rock, Texas, United States, that develops, sells,
repairs and supports computers and related product and services.
It is founded by Michael Dell in february1, 1984;32
years ago. The model that we take from dell is Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series.

ASUS: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. usually referred to as ASUS is a Taiwanese

multinational computer hardware and electronics company headquartered in Beitou
Distric, Taipei, Taiwan. Its products include desktops, laptops, notebooks, mobile
phones, networking equipment monitors, projectors, graphic cards, workstations,
tablet PCs, multimedia products.
It is founded by Ted Hsu, M.T. Liao, Wayne Tsiah,
T.H. Tung in April 2, 1989; 27 years ago. The model which we takes from Asus is
A555LA-XX2036T.

The features which we are comparing in our study are central processing unit,
operating system, screen, random access memory, web cam, colour, hard disk, battery
and price.

Conclusion: In our research, we conclude that the laptop of lenovo is best

because it is cheaper from all laptops and this laptop have all best features. So this is
the best and most affordable laptop with more features.
